This year, the Kite for Kenya team is again on a mission to champion ocean conservation along the East African coastline. The team is gearing up for an even longer kite-surfing journey covering over 600km down the Kenyan coast! 💙

This four women team - including the daughters of our Wild Times founder Karin Bloem - will not only conquer waves but also make a difference. At every stop, they’ll visit and support community-led projects addressing social and environmental challenges faced by 500 million people globally who depend on the reef for their livelihoods. They will be supporting REEFolution Foundation as well as other local charities.

𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝗿𝗶 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗸𝗮
Sri Lanka, also known as 'Little India,' offers breathtaking beaches, landscapes, and ancient history, promising to be a journey full of discoveries.

💚 Explore the emerald green inland and vast tea plantations by train, climb the Lion Rock in Sigiriya, visit ancient royal cities, charming temples, and botanical gardens in Kandy. Mix this with sun-drenched beaches and a delightful stay by the coast.

🐆 Sri Lanka is a fantastic wildlife destination too. In the nature parks, you can spot elephants, leopards, crocodiles, and various gazelles. On the south coast, you can witness whale watching during the whale season from November to April, peaking between December and March.
