In September we made it; a tour for chess players to Uzbekistan! Combining my two passions. A group of ten chess enthousiasts first of all enjoyed the beauty of the Uzbek cities of Bukhara, Samarkand and Tashkent, plus the Nurata mountains, Aydarkul lake and the desert.
But we also played chess with locals in the three cities on special locations. Standing out was the tournament at the famous and hystoric Lyabi Hauz in Bukhara.
Next Uzbekistan chess tour in 2026 including a visit to the Samarkand Chess Olympiad!

Became the representative of "Kazakh Tourism" National Company JSC in The Netherlands, 18 years after starting the promotion of tourism to Kazakhstan. Looking forward to new projects, challenges and tours! A great honour and pleasure.
