After a really lovely (and warm) stay in Chennai, where the crew was welcomed with colorful gifts, the Clipper sailed on to Mumbai. Here we will stay until the 24th of December. Until then we will be welcoming and hosting more guests from Randstad India and the Municipality of Amsterdam on board. It is a cool experience and interesting mix of cultures.
Meanwhile, the crew will also be busy preparing the ship for the next leg (to the Maldives 🌴🐠), as well as for Christmas and New Year celebrations on board with our guests 🎄🥂

De vrijwilligers van de KNRM - Koninklijke Nederlandse Redding Maatschappij zijn onze helden. Door weer en wind gaan ze het water op om mensen in nood te helpen. Daarom gaan wij, Anne en Maartje van Team Clipper Stad Amsterdam, hen morgen helpen tijdens een inzamelingsactie. En jij kan daarbij helpen. Elke donatie is welkom en de KNRM heeft iets bijzonders te bieden...

Ben je op zoek naar een stoer teambuilding-evenement dan kun je dit ook bij de KNRM doen. Jouw team (tot 24 personen) wordt verwelkomd met koffie en thee bij een KNRM-boothuis. Na een inspirerende lezing over de achtergrond en geschiedenis van deze helden van de zee, gaan jullie het water op in een van de snelle reddingsboten. Jullie sluiten de middag af met een borrel. De bijdrage voor dit evenement is €3950,-. Hiermee heeft je team een onvergetelijke dag en bovendien help je de KNRM enorm.

Behind the scenes...

While at the warf in Singapore, the crew worked hard to get Clipper Stad Amsterdam ready & shiny for the next part of the World Tour. Washing, sewing, cleaning and fixing before sailing to India next week. Well done!💪👷‍♀️👷⛵️

⛵ We Finaly started the engine after 464 hours and 3044 Nautical Miles of uninterupted sailing. This was the longest and furthest haul without engine since we started recording for our KPI's. Our next destination Denpasar (Bali) is within reach - almost there!
