A big shout out to our amazing bookers! Thanks to them, our journey through Cameroon and the Central African Republic was unforgettable. With Ryan as a guide, we went from the busy streets of Yaoundé to the tranquil villages of Yokadouma. We trekked through dense jungles, explored Dzanga-Sangha National Park, and even spotted wild forest elephants in Dzanga Bai! These horizontal images were our favorite 📸

🌄✨ Just finished our latest adventure through Iraq and Kurdistan with our guide Xavi! Our latest adventure started in Baghdad, where we immersed ourselves in the local culture before hitting the road!

We had the unique opportunity to experience the Marshes, where we saw the famous floating villages by boat. We visited Lalesh, the sacred heart of the Yazidi people, and explored the ancient St. Matthew Monastery. Then, we headed to Duhok, a vibrant city full of life and charm. As we traveled through the breathtaking sights of Amadiya and Rawandas. We had stunning sunsets in towns like Sulaymaniyah and enjoyed the warm hospitality of the locals.

We ended our final day with a visit to the historic Fortress of Erbil and a farewell dinner.

Our Story

CultureRoad is een jong reisbureau uit Utrecht. Wij organiseren groepsreizen en individuele tours naar bestemmingen waarvan je moeder liever niet heeft dat je er naartoe gaat.

We zijn begonnen in 2015 vanuit de overtuiging dat er verschillende plekken op aarde zijn die het bezoeken waard zijn ook voor mensen met een kleiner budget. Noord-Korea was onze eerste bestemmingen. Sindsdien zijn we steeds verder uitgebreid. We bieden groepsreizen aan en individuele reizen, naar gelang ieders voorkeur.

Op dit moment gaan onze reizen naar: Noord-Korea, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Turkmenistan, Irak, Haïti, Venezuela, Oekraïne (Tsjernobyl), Moldavië (Transnistrië), Rusland (Kaliningrad).
