Sigiriya (Lion Rock)
A unique harmony with nature that challenges the imagination with its scenery, nature and history, this is the region that attracts the most visitors in Sri Lanka.
The settlement history of this region, near the city of Dambulla in Sri Lanka, a country on the Indian Ocean, dates back to 477 BC.
This Aslan rock is 200 meters high and is an igneous rock formed from an extinct volcano.
At the same time, it has an archaeological importance with its rock walls, large gardens, (Sigiriya Gardens are also among the oldest in the world), canals, fountains (fountains built in the 5th century may be the oldest fountains in the world), ponds, streets and historical monuments. It stands out as a place to be seen.
