The Kasita is best known for its award winning design and engineering. This transportable holiday home was made to reinvent housing. That’s why it’s packed with technology and space. However, this doesn’t mean the Kasita is difficult to move or transport.
In the video below you get a closer look at the installation of the Kasita. Please contact us for more details about this movable holiday home.
The Tiny Tim makes the best possible use of all the properties of wood. Wood is the primary material in the cradle to cradle philosophy. The transportable holiday home also implements very sustainable solutions for water purification, space heating and the generation of electricity. This makes the Tiny Tim 100% sustainable regarding water and energy.
The small space asks for smart solutions. The interior is flexible and multifunctional. The table can be folded down, and the couch also serves as a spare bed and as storage space. Also, the kitchen is placed on top of a platform, hiding a bed, cabinets and the technical equipment underneath.
The Tiny Tim is very mobile and can be transported with a trailer. A movable holiday home gives a lot of freedom compared to a traditional home. And this home can even be used at destinations and locations where other solutions are too expensive or technically impossible.
The Wikkelhouse utilizes high strength cardboard as the main structural element. During the production process, a house shaped mold is wrapped with 24 layers of cardboard. Hence the name Wikkelhouse, which in English loosely translates to “wrap house”.
A special transportable holiday home deserves a special introduction. Please enjoy this lovely animation.

Shining our spotlight on the SolarCabin.
The SolarCabin offers you a “roof under the sun”. This transportable holiday home is self-sufficient: the solar roof produces more energy than the home consumes. In other words: it provides you with all the energy you need to live comfortably. SolarCabins are made from sustainable materials and assembled with the principles of circularity as a main priority. This is reflected in the use of durable materials. In addition, the SolarCabin has a long lifespan, of at least 25 years.
The SolarCabin can be disassembled, moved and expanded. Thanks to the modular structure and the prefabrication method, the placement of this home is completed within a few days.
With the SolarCabin you don’t have to worry about a boring design. This movable holiday home is unique and recognizable, and can be customized to your wishes. The home is available in different models. This means your home can be tailor-made to your holidaying wishes.
Back to basic, that is the principle of the Simple Home. The simple and efficient design of this transportable holiday home - as well as the highest quality craftsmanship - ensures uncomplicated and comfortable living. The commitment to simplicity leads to new and unconventional solutions, that are noticeable in every detail.
By using naturally grown materials, the Simple Home is characterized by high sustainability. The design of this movable holiday home makes optimal use of both natural resources as well as financial resources. In other words: this movable holiday home offers excellent value for money.
The Simple Home is prefabricated as a whole and then delivered as a package. This is not only less expensive, but also allows for a quick change of location with little effort.
In our catalogue we feature some of the most innovative and beautiful holiday homes. The one thing they all have in common, is that they can be transported to your preferred holiday destination.
A question we get asked frequently is about the time it’ll take to construct the homes once they’ve arrived at your location. Of course, this differs for each of our homes, but as an example we would like to show you the video below. This short clip gives a detailed look at the construction process of The Box System.
With the use of good insulation and durable materials, the Mobihut offers great comfort. This means saving on heating, while guaranteeing a pleasant indoor temperature in both hot and cold weather. This makes this transportable home very suitable for holidays both in the early season as well as in the late season.
The Mobihut can be modified according to your wishes. For example, you can choose from various finishes for the inside and the outside of your movable holiday home. With its smart design the home can accommodate up to six people with all the necessary facilities, such as a refrigerator, stove, seating area and a large deck terrace. The terrace offers optimal comfort on sunny days. And when the weather gets colder, you can get cozy inside the Mobihut.
This holiday home provides you with a luxurious holiday destination, that is easily moved and placed. And that can even be stored during the winter.
This movable holiday home offers all the amenities you need. The kitchen and bathroom are on the ground floor, as well as a cozy sitting area that can also be used as a workspace. Thanks to a folding bed, the living and sleeping function can be combined. Sleeping can also be done upstairs, where there is room for a double bed and storage space.
Because of the spacy atrium, visitors are surprised that the MiniVilla is much larger than they expected. Also, this transportable holiday home is well insulated and therefore energy efficient. It can also be delivered as an energy neutral holiday home, with solar panels and self-sufficient solutions for water and sanitation.
One or more MiniVilla's can be placed detached in the middle of a landscape, like real villas. But if you are looking for a holiday home with a little more space or if you want to spend your holidays together with friends, several homes can be linked together. Every unit can be build by two people within two days.
We love innovative housing. What could be more innovative than a spaceship? An eco-friendly spaceship, of course!
Take a look at this amazing self-sufficient project, that combines the blockhaus system with the latest tech. The project functions as a self-sufficient organism, that is capable of using the sun and photosynthesis to produce energy, food, oxygen and water.
So, even though this spaceship doesn’t fly, it’s completely futureproof.
Have you ever seen a house that follows the sun? This self-sufficient transportable holiday home - the MiniStek - is the result of a collaboration between a collective of creatives from Apeldoorn. They want to offer smaller, simpler, flexible and sustainable housing.
The MiniStek lets you live off-grid. This is because the mobile home literally salutes the sun. The angle of the roof of the mobile holiday home catches every sunbeam, while the house itself turns, facing the sun every minute of the day.
This transportable holiday is made with some important values in mind. The first is independence, because the home is self-sufficient and movable within a day. Responsibility is the second value: the MiniStek is energy-efficient and made from reusable materials. This doesn’t take away from quality or living comfort though. There is luxury in simplicity. The last value is adventure, which is reflected by the surprising round shape of the home and the fact that it spins with the sun.
The Panorama is a spacious transportable holiday home with a guest house, including a bathroom. The large windows give a spatial effect and offer a beautiful panoramic view. The sleek design and material use give the home a robust appearance.
This movable holiday home is completely built in the factory. In two separate parts, it is then transported to the final location. There the Panorama is assembled very quickly, within a couple of days.
The spacious terrace with outdoor fireplace is the perfect place to enjoy summer evenings. But also on colder nights, the Panorama stays comfortable and cozy. The entire home has a concrete floor with underfloor heating - beautiful and practical. An additional advantage is that no space is lost due to radiators. And if you’re interested in living off the grid, you can improve the energy performance of this movable holiday home with solar panels and a heat pump.
In our catalogue you can find some of the coolest transportable holiday homes. Among these are the Koda and the Ark Shelter. We’re very excited that both homes made it onto this list with amazing micro homes.
The five homes in this article - including our Koda and Ark Shelter - prove that big is not always best when it comes to architecture.
Over seven billion people call our little blue planet home. Whichever way you slice it, that is a lot of inhabitants. Everybody needs a home but, with urban populations spiralling higher and higher, s

Instantly you can see how this transportable holiday home gets its name. It’s not just the special shape though, because just like an actual igloo the Igloo Tube ensures excellent climate comfort, both during the summer and the winter. Also, it offers great sound insulation and a comfortable feeling of living.
Of course, we wouldn’t include the Igloo Tube in our catalogue if this holiday home wasn’t easily movable. The intelligent and unique construction is characterized by a solid and stable construction that can be build in a short amount of time. The modular concept also ensures different possibilities in design, to your liking for every space and purpose.
We usually call them transportable holiday homes or movable holiday homes, but we also love the expression “nomadic homes”. In the article below architecture writer Philip Jodidio explores some amazing examples of these nomadic homes, including our Ecocapsule.

Shining our spotlight on the Getaway Deluxe.
The Getaway Deluxe is a wooden hideout that accommodates up to four people. The comfortable holiday home comes with a fully equipped kitchen, fireplace, extra wide beds and a rain shower.
The large windows of this transportable holiday home dissolve the boundaries between inside and outside. The Getaway Deluxe feels spacious. This is enhanced by the skillful use of space through custom-designed furniture. For example: The sofa is integrated in the sunken living area, the u-shaped corner bench is tailor made and built-in-cupboards provide storage space.
One of the most spectacular features of the Getaway Deluxe is the “birds nest”. A term that refers to one of the bedrooms. This room is accessed via a ladder, is surrounded by windows on three sides and has a skylight, through which you can watch the stars at night.
The Ecocapsule is a self-sustainable, transportable holiday home. Because it's powered solely by solar and wind energy, it allows you to live off-the-grid. And if there is no sunlight or wind, the battery will last you up to four days. It’s also equipped with a water-collection system and filter, making the water safe to drink.
The Ecocapsule can be whatever you want it to be: A warm mountain cabin in the great outdoors. A beach cabana on a remote island. A quiet studio in the countryside. An opportunity to getaway and enjoy an life in nature.
With Ecocapsule, you can achieve a new level of freedom. This, however, doesn't mean you have to go without comfort and luxury.
We spend our days inside, in the office and in our apartments. Our stress levels have never been higher. This sad fact is directly related to our lifestyle. Researchers took a group of stressed out people and sent them into the woods to live in a glass cabin. The video below shows how spending time in nature affected their stress levels.
We agree that there are clear health benefits to enjoying nature. That’s why we’ve selected some great locations for our transportable holiday homes.
In our last spotlight post we introduced the DublDom 26. This time we take a look at its larger sibling: the DublDom 40. And as you might have guessed the “40” in the name, refers to the size of this transportable holiday home, which is 40 square meters.
The DublDom 40 consists of three modules that form a single coherent space. The open plan gives you the opportunity to create a big studio or, if you prefer, to create a few separate rooms. And in the future, you could even attach additional modules. Of course, the transportable holiday home features all the necessities, like sanitary equipment, furniture and household appliances. Some striking features of the DublDom 40 are the big terrace, the stained glass window and the high ceiling, that even allows for a large chandelier.
This movable holiday home was created so people could live closer to nature. It’s designed to fit the harmony of any landscape and become the perfect frame for any view. Luckily the DublDom 40 is designed to be carried right off the shelf and to be installed on site in just one day. This means you can truly choose your own scenery to enjoy.
You might be afraid that choosing a transportable holiday home for your next holiday will mean a loss of space and comfort. And sure, on the outside some of these homes look small... But just wait till you step inside!

DublDom means something like “double house”. This is because the 26 square meter transportable holiday home consists of two modules. Within this usable area you’ll find everything you need: entrance hall, lounge, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom.
Of course, a small house is nice and cozy, and it’s very handy to have everything at your fingertips. But the DublDom26 offers an extra benefit: it uses an absolute minimum of energy for heating. The movable holiday home can be heated by a small fire in an hour, even in the bitter cold.
This makes it the perfect home for those who love to spend time outdoors, but also appreciate comfort and warmth.
In a couple of our previous posts, we’ve shown you how easy transportable holiday homes are to move. Contrary to what you might think, this doesn’t mean the homes are bare and spartan. Just look at the interior of the Kasita.
