Dutch Coöperatie DOOR implements QC One
Coöperatie DOOR has successfully implemented the inspection system QC One over the past few months. In stages, all brands and locations of the vegetable cooperative have switched to a new regime of quality inspections. Both the quality inspection on incoming and outgoing products and shelf life tests have now been recorded. The next stage has begun, which involves the growers themselves conducting quality inspections on their own products.
With five brands, 49 growers and more than 550 hectares of greenhouses, it’s quite a challenge to implement an univocal and standardised quality system. Jan Opschoor, manager of DOOR, is happy with this new step: “In recent years we grew quite a lot, and we want to continue growing. A manageable and professional inspection system is naturally a part of that as well. After an intensive selection, we chose the Dutch QC One. To me and the project team, the flexibility they offer was decisive regarding our choice.”
