After gaining ample
experience and knowledge during the 5 years that I worked at a translation agency, I decided to become my own employer so that I could concentrate on translating. I am looking forward to work on interesting projects in a variety of fields. My specialisations are business communication (letters, emails, newsletters, intranet posts, ...) and HRM, but I also have experience in translating manuals for appliances, stairlifts, hydraulic tools and software, course manuals, user instructions for timber protection products, blog posts about Microsoft CRM, a guide book for family caregivers of people with dementia, terms and conditions, privacy policies, contracts, board and card games, and much more. It's my interest in other cultures and languages, and love for travel that inspired me to start studying translation after graduating as a social worker (HRM specialisation). Apart from Russian and English, the languages I studied, I also know some French and Spanish.
