Good luck ‘new’ Miramar Boat Trips!
Someone said there are only 2 moments in your life when you are happy to have a boat: the day you buy it and the day you sell it.
But for us that could not be further from the truth. We have met so many incredible people and made amazing memories on board. We had marriage proposals (they all said yes), parties, snorkel trips, sunset dinners, massages on board, private chefs cooking 5-star meals, 3 Fuikdag parties (which were crazy).. We know we were exactly where we were supposed to be: on the water, showing off our beautiful island and making sure your day with us was the best day of your vacation. And making sure you got in the taxi safe after all those rum punches 😉
We learned that hard work pays off and that our mutual passion is being on a boat and hosting people. However, next to Miramar Boattrips we started/purchased 2 more businesses over the years and, frankly, it was all getting too much. We made the choice to not continue with Miramar but focus on our other companies (dinghy repair and Powerboat trips). A difficult choice because we love the Miramar spirit and the people we met on board. But it is for the best. In the past 4,5 years we have learned a lot about ourself, our team spirit, overcoming challenges and how freaking expensive boat parts are! 😉
Today we passed the keys of the boat and Miramar Boattrips to Clifton. He is an experienced captain and we are sure he will make your day unforgettable.
We wish him lots of success and many beautiful memories just like we had!
