Founded by two brothers (Jasper and Menno van Eijk), Oak Brothers Marine set course to change the sloepen- and boating industry within Europe. We are settled in Warmond (Zuid-Holland) which is between Amsterdam and The Hague. Warmond provides a wide range of water that works perfectly for a boat manufacture company, especially when you think of testing it. A traditional Maine lobster boat was the
main focus of a new design, which was combined with a shared vision, creating the new innovative hull that was later used to build the first Oak Brothers Marine boat; Oak Brothers 29’. By using an authentic lobster boat from Maine as an example, the sketch of the boat was altered, only to improve and perfect it for the European marine market. An example of this improvement, was taking the original lobster boat with cabin and opening it up for European coast water. The boat has multiple users potential, making it possible to use it as a sloep or a leisure boat. The unique design makes it more luxurious, however none of its old core values has vanished. Starting off, the first model was build to ride coast water, focussing mainly on our home country, the Netherlands. This gave the company a unique insight of the different forms of water, different weather conditions, proving the Oak Brothers 29’ is capable of hitting European water. The unique aluminium welded hull, created a solid base from where the boat was later put together by craftsmanship from the famous Van Leest Scheepsbouw BV. The combination of this experience boat and yacht building firm, combined with our innovative vision makes this boat like no other. In order to succeed in our dream, we will stick to our vision and core values, which are innovation, unique, craftsmanship, family and entrepreneurial vision but not vanishing the traditional aspects of the Maine Lobster boat, which give us a distinctive approach from the traditional establishment.
