Oslo light
Here comes the sun! ☀️
Norwegians take their love of the sun very seriously- they will use every square inch of sun covered area and treasure it immensely probably while they eat a hot dog.💛
Southern and Eastern Norway have the most ☀️ exposure in the country 🇧🇻- the amount corresponding the central Europe.
Above the ❄️ Arctic Circle you can experience midnight sun- a Polar Day phenomenon when the sun just does not set.
In the northernmost inhabited region of Europe- Svalbard, Norway- there is NO sunset from ca mid April to mid August.😳
Most of Norway also gets the summer "White nights" - nights when the sun remains less than 6 degrees below the horizon.
When you come to Oslo i June- make sure you got some thick dark curtains if you wish to sleep 😴. It is challenging for me but my Dad loves it!
Coming from Gdańsk, I feel that there is quite a lot of sun in Oslo.
