I have a long experience from working as a guide in one of the major museums in Oslo, and in OsloHiking I get to combine my love of guiding with my enthusiasm for nature. My aim is to present a side of Oslo not commonly shown to tourists. Though Norway is known for its gorgeous nature, visitors rarely get to see much of the Norwegian wilderness until they leave the capital and head west or north.
This is sad, because Oslo is in fact only a subway ride away from the great outdoors. For now the hikes are only available in English and Norwegian, but hopefully some day soon OsloHiking will also be able to offer them in other languages. www.oslo-hiking.com

Hiking to St Margaret's Church at the Beginning of June

The beginning of June has been unseasonably warm, with temperatures in the high 20s (celsius). The forest right now is very dry. (So until there's been a lot of rain, any type of fire is out of the question.) The hike to St Margaret's Church ends on a field, and the entire field is lush and green.
