Kiosk is a cute and cozy coffee shop located in an old gas station from 1935. This coffee shop has room for two to three guests inside. But there is plenty of space outside. You can enjoy a coffee outside like a local 😊.

Rooftop views of Oslo from the Munch museum ❄️🏙️
I would definitely recommend a visit to the Munch museum. You can get up close to the most important artworks by Edvard Munch such as the iconic painting The Scream 😱.
The rooftop at the Munch museum offers spectacular views of the city. This museum offers 13 floors of art including a cocktail bar, a restaurant and a coffee shop.

It’s snow time in Oslo these days. The city look brighter and pretty covered in snow.
Grønlandsleiret street is near Klosterenga scupture park and is perfect for a snow day stroll in the city. You can grab good quality coffee at Kaffebreneriet which is located on a beautiful historic building ☕️.

Most of the colorful wooden houses you find in this neighborhood were built in 1850. The park surrounding these houses is located in a small hill. Sledding is perfect in this park full of snow ❄️❄️.

Winter wonderland at Frognerseteren 🎄⛄️✨
Frognerseteren is one of the most authentic places to visit in Oslo, particularly during Christmas 🎄🎁.
The idea of building this cozy restaurant /café was to offer to skiers, hikers and travelers a place to rest and have something to drink.
This wooden building has a Dragon style, inspired by the Stave Churches.
I love to bring family, friends and tourists to Frognerseteren, not only for the Norwegian traditional food but also for the amazing views.

This week the Munch museum is celebrating Edvard Munch’s birthday with several activities.
Edvard Munch was born December 12th 1863. He is well known for his iconic painting The Scream. He produced 1200 painting, 7500 drawings and sketches, 18 322 graphics and 14 sculptures 👏👏

The lovely Norsk Folkmuseum’s annual Christmas fair 🎄🎁🌟
This market has several market stands selling traditional Norwegian mittens, Christmas decorations and traditional Norwegian food.
All the historical houses are decorated according to traditions of their time. There is also a Folk Dance group, service in the Stave Church, bonfires and concerts.
This market is available the two first weekends in December from 11:00 to 16:00.

These two building are centrally located on the city’s waterfront in the area of Bjørvika. There is a water mirror in front of the library during summer and autumn and in winter time is a popular ice skating ring.
These two buildings glow at night from the inside giving a complete different character.

This church main building dates from 1796 and the stone building is from 1737.
This week Gamlebyen church is open to the public, offering different events until Sunday. There is an art exhibition, Baroque concerts, workshops and you can even try some warm waffles 🧇.

This new eco-friendly library has six-story space and is located on the Oslo Harbour.
Take a walk at night for a different perspective of this library. At night, this building glows from the inside.

This square is located in the neighborhood of Kvadraturen and is a must place to visit if you like architecture from different periods of time. This is the place that I like to show to my tourists on my waking tours.
There is cozy restaurant called Engebret Café that dates from 1857. Ibsen, Grieg, Bjørnson and Munch had regular tables.
They serve traditional Norwegian food.

Grubbegata is an old street from 1649. This street runs from Grensen through Hammersborg to Fredensborgveien.
🚶♀️This is a very nice walk if you want to explore different areas in the city.
You can find restaurants, cozy coffee shops and beer bars.
