Yesterday our partner Sokki Adventure arranged their yearly Easter reindeer race competition. Accompanied by Upnorth.Samiadventure who also competed after first place 🥇

Every year they host a competition in Guovdageaidnu with three classes, women, men’s and children’s class. Followed by a competition of lasso throwing in the three classes. It’s a spectacular show for all ages and should not be missed on your trip to Guovdageaidnu next easter! 🐣

Sometimes it’s hard to know the unwritten rules of where you’re allowed to pick cloudberries.

Some locals even have their own hidden places to pick berries and it’s know that those places have bears 🐻! So you should NOT go there, instead go to Tamsøya in Porsanger! They have available slots for picking cloudberries as soon as they are ripe😍
