In connection with the wedding at the Royal Family in Kangra, I am planning a trip to the area. Starting with the Golden Temple in Amritsar, then Shimla, Kangra Fort (if somebody is there) and down to Daramsala and the wedding.

After summer, in the middle of October & November I will visit Rajasthan and Gujarat and a few more places together with a friend.
The Tour has been reduced.
The tour will start in Jodhpur (after Delhi or Bombay). If Bombay then Pune will be visited after Bombay.
In Rajasthan I want to use time in Jaipur (stay with Begu), Udaipur (riding at Princess’ Farm) and Jodhpur, and I also hope to visit Jaisalmer, maybe also Bikaner. Pushkar (Rana sa have a property there), Junia Fort, and Banswara Fort Tonk might be revisited (with the Crownprince of Tonk), Bundi.
In Gujarat I hope to visit Gondal, Rajkot, Chuda, Chhota Udaipur, Diu, maybe Jasdan and Jahmnagar.
The tour ends with Happy’s wedding 29. November.

The tour will start in Jodhpur (after Delhi or Bombay). If Bombay then Pune will be visited after Bombay. ADC Rathore’s car will be used for 1 month. Then maybe Tulsi’s.

Desicion has been made. ‘The Southerner’ will be January & February 2024 because of the weather. That means that after summer, in October & November I will visit Rajasthan and Gujarat and a few more places, like Mysore and Hyderabad.

I was planning the South of India in October & November; but people tell me December & January are better. So I am thinking of doing Rajasthan & Gujarat & Gwalior, maybe Mysore & Hyderabad instead. Then I could use more time in Jaipur & Udaipur.

I am happy to announce my intention for a second journey in India, or India and Indonesia, in 2023. I have been invited to a meeting of 300 Royals in Indonesia, but I do not know when and where yet.
The preliminary route goes in the south of India where I have travelled very little, so I do not know many there, but I hope to forge new friendships.
