Välkommen till Orkla Lax! Under årtionden har vi erbjudit fiske på våra sträckor i Orkla och nu har vi även fiske i Gaula. Vi har både fasta sträckor, som hyrs ut veckovis för grupper med eller utan boende och det alltmer populära rotationsfisket. Här fiskar du i par med en kamrat efter ett rotationsschema över flera sträckor. Du får på detta sätt tillgång till ett mycket varierat fiske. Dessutom

erbjuder vi grupper möjlighet till en egen rotationsvecka med helpension med egen k**k och fiskeguider. Med andra ord har vi olika lösningar anpassade för just ditt fiske och du är välkommen att kontakta oss med din förfrågan. Välkommen till ett spännande laxfiske hos Orkla Lax! Hasse Dehlin

The final days of the season ( 27 of August to 31 of August) there were caught 10 salmon and 2 Seatrout on our beats. Biggest fish weighed 13 kg.
It has been a special season regarding the weather.
Late spring gave quite cold opening days followed by really warm weather in June with warm water temperatures. July was little bit colder than the last years.
Then August with all these heavy rains which made Orkla and Gaula unfishable for several days.

What's very positive is the amount of fish in the pools for the upcoming spawning.

We are thanking all our guests for this season and looking forward to see you next season.

20 of August to 26 August there were caught 9 salmon. Biggest fish weighed 11,5 kg and was caught by Björn Linder at Loe beat.
This week was marked by heavy rain and a big flood again. The flood peaked with over 500 cubic meter per second in Orkla.
And Gaula reached over 1300 cubic meter per second.

The 13 of August to the 19 of August there were caught 18 salmon and 1 seatrout on our beats.
Biggest salmon this week weighed 10,5 kg and were caught at Ljøkel beat.

14/08/2023

The 6 of August to 12 of August there were caught 10 salmon and 1 seatrout on our beats.
This week was marked by heavy rain and really high flood. The river peaked with 600 Cubic meter per second in the middle of the week.
Which of course made the fishing impossible couple of days.
Biggest fish of the week weighed 13,9 kg and were caught at Espås beat by Nils-Erik Andersson.

The 30 of July to the 5 of August 39 salmon and 7 seatrout were caught on our beats. Biggest salmon of the week weighed 14 kg and were caught at Finnhølen/ Ljøkel beat.
Biggest Seatrout of the week weighed 5,8 kg and were caught at øvre Valdum beat (Gaula).

The 23 of July to the 29 of July there were caught 32 salmon on our beats. Biggest fish of the week weighed 12 kg and were caught on beat Finnhølen. Photo on the left Anton Åsenlund with the second biggest fish of the week weighing 11,4 kg caught on beat Rye.

The 16 of July to the 22 of July 28 salmon and 1 seatrout (4,0 kg) were caught on our beats. Biggest fish weighed 13,2 kg and were caught at beat Rye.

The 9 of July to th 15 of July our guests caught 29 salmon and 3 seatrouts.
Biggest salmon of the week weighed 15 kg. Caught by Per Heikkilä at Hongslo beat.
Biggest seatrout weighed 4 kg and were caught at beat Øvre Valdum.

The 2 of July to 8 of July our guests caught 27 salmon.
Biggest fish caught this week weighed 12,7 kg.

The 25 of June to the 1 July our guests caught 36 salmon. The biggest fish of the week weighed 15,1 kg.
With a weather change from the past week really warm weather to a colder and cloudy weather with som rain improved the fishing.
Also the last two weeks of higher amounts of salmon entering the Trondheims fjord has of course reflected the catches in a positive way.

Between the 18 of June to 24 of June our guests caught 19 salmon. Very warm and sunny weather marked this week. Biggest fish of the week weighed 11 kg.

11 June to 17 of June our guests caught 12 Salmon. Biggest fish of the week were caught on Finnhølen by Thomas Dehlin and weighed 12kg.

From two fantastic opening days of the season in River Orkla the following week were really slow and directly on the contrary to the opening days. The pattern seems to be the same in rivers around the Trondheims firth.
Our guests caught 3 salmon from 3 of June to 10 June.
Biggest salmon weighed 9,7 kg caught by Heinz Hoefler on ljökel beat.

The first to second of June our guests caught 17 salmon on our beats.
Biggest fish caught on our Orkla beats weighed 15,5 kg. And the biggest fish caught on Ø.Valdum in Gaula was a stunning fish weighed 14,7 kg caught by Petri Järventausta.
