Camp period week The youth camp is held every year in district J in Norway.

The camps theme is «Peace, culture and environment», a theme that was chosen after the horrible event that affected so many people the 22nd of July 2011. The camp can take 30 participants between 18 and 21 years, that is interested in our theme and can speak english. This years camp will be held in week 28, 29 and 30. The first week the youth will stay with a hostfamily and the next two weeks will

be at the camp, which is held at Vestby Folkehøyskole. Camp Imagine Peace has a goal to make the youths reflect over different perspectives of peace, which affect our activities a lot. We visit many different cultural and historical places, like the castle, fortresses as Oscarsborg and Fredriksten and also the worlds biggest sculpture park made by one artist, Vigelandsparken. It is also a goal that the participants experience a positive development personally and a deeper understanding of peace efforts. The Camp Director is YCEC Stefan T.
