Congratulations !
to our third team to Annapurna base camp ( 4,200m ). Susan Brushett and Llions Roberts successfully accomplished their 8 days trek to Annapurna base camp via Ghorepani / P**n hill.
We are very glad to organize the trek for them. Hope this adventure will become one of many to come and we will get to see them again with more zeal, energy and love for mountains.

Explore Upper Mustang

A road to Lomanthang

By walking, one can fully appreciate the area's beauty and rich culture, away from the main tourist routes. Furthermore, the mountains to the east of the Kali Gandaki valley remain pristine and unspoiled.

Tiji Festival

The Tiji Festival is the last of its kind celebrated in its place of origin. Monks perform the sacred Vajrakila dance as a meditative practice, characterized by intricate movements, gestures, and expressions. This three-day mystic mask dance festival commemorates the triumph over evil by Dorjee Sonnu, an incarnation of Buddha. The date of the Tiji festival varies each year in the Gregorian calendar, as it is based on the lunisolar Tibetan calendar, typically occurring in late May or early June.

Mohare Danda - Ghorepani - Muldai view Point Trek

Avoid the crowd in the classic trail of Annapurna and trek to Mohare danda - Muldai viewpoint based on community lodges. Walk on the beaten trail and get the most surreal view of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri. A short trek from 3 days to a week could be organized visiting Mohara danda (3,300 m) and Muldai view point (3,800 m) based on community homestay or lodges. The route avoids the classic trail to Ghorepani which is now a motorable road.

Flood caused by Thyanbo glacial lake burst !

Mountain people suffer for green house effect
On Saturday, officials confirmed that the severe flooding in Thame village was triggered by the outburst of the Thyanbo glacial lake. Experts in climate change indicated that this incident exemplifies the "catastrophic impacts" of rising global temperatures on communities that have contributed the least to the greenhouse gas emissions responsible for this phenomenon. The flood, resulted in the total destruction of at least 14 structures, comprising seven residences, five hotels, one hostel, and one clinic.
