During the club formation, a tourism speech contest with topic Bagmati Province Tourism Prospects as a part of the tourism awareness program was also conducted. Vice Principal of Shree Janakalyan Secondary School Mr.Manoj Rayamajhi and the teachers were the other dignitaries.TRTI Director Mr. Saroj Pyakurel handed over club prefect batch to Mr.Sabin KC of grade 9. With the financial support of Sustainable Tourism for Livelihood Recovery Project (STLRP)- a joint collaborative project of the Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) and United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Nepal, TRTI as a consulting service provider formed 11-members National Sustainable Tourism Club ( 5male, 6female ) in the of school Principal Ms.Rabina G.C at Sunrise English Boarding school at Narayan municipality-1, Dailekh on Dec-23, 2023. During the club formation, a tourism speech contest with topic Karnali Province Tourism Prospects as a part of the tourism awareness program was also conducted. Vice principal, School incharges including teachers were the other dignitaries. TRTI School Program Coordinator handed over club prefect batch to Ms.PriyanshiShrestha student of grade 9. Ms.Sadikshya K.C, Mr. Priyanshi Shrestha and Ms. Renisha K.C stood first, first runner-up, and second runner-up respectively in the tourism speech competition.
The club will initiate the annual tourism awareness activities and campaigns like tourism speech competitions, tourism quiz competitions, tourism content writing, domestic tourism destination exploration and promotion, tourism rallies and campaigns, tourism blogs, and story preparation, etc.to foster sustainable tourism activities in the nation.

With the financial support of Sustainable Tourism for Livelihood Recovery Project (STLRP)- a joint collaborative project of the Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) and United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Nepal, TRTI as a consulting service provider formed 11-members National Sustainable Tourism Club ( 4male, 7female ) in the school Principal Mr.Surendra Bahadur Shahi at Dailekh Model School at Narayan Municipality-6, Dailekh on Dec-23, 2023. During the club formation, a tourism speech contest with topic Karnali Province Tourism Prospects as a part of the tourism awareness program was also conducted. Vice principal, School incharges including teachers were the other dignitaries. GTTP Nepal Country Director Mr. Madan Kumar Baral handed over club prefect batch to Mr.Milan Shahi student of grade 9. Ms.Tanisha Khadka, Mr.Sudakshana Chand and Ms.Smirti Shahi stood first, first runner-up, and second runner-up respectively in the tourism speech competition.
