After a well-deserved night's rest at Camp 2, the team is now making remarkable progress. They have successfully reached Camp 1 and are currently en route to Everest Base Camp.

🏔 Expedition Update 🏔

Greetings, everyone! Here's a quick update on Mr Sonam’s climb on Everest (7 summit challenge)

After summiting Mt Everest at 7:30 am on Wednesday (17th May), team has successfully reached Camp 4, marking a significant milestone in their journey. After a restful night, they are now preparing to descend to Camp 2, aiming to arrive by 2 pm today.

Tomorrow morning, they will embark on their final leg of the journey, making their way to Everest Base Camp. The anticipation is palpable as they approach the heart of this legendary mountain. Their arrival is expected tomorrow morning, where they will officially set foot on Everest Base Camp—a remarkable feat in itself.

We'll keep you posted on their progress as they continue this awe-inspiring adventure.

Joined by fellow climber Robert Moracchini and an exceptional team, including Jangbu Sherpa, Pem Tengi Sherpa, and Pemba Sherpa, they conquer the world's highest peak after departing from Camp 4.

🌍🏔️ Lhakpa Sonam Sherpa becomes the first Nepalese climber to conquer the highest peaks on all seven continents, including the challenging summit of Mount Carstensz.

With a summit target on the 28th, our team reached C-III on the 26th. Just before we reached our camp, an avalanche triggered on the slope between CIII & CIV, resulting in many injuries and disrupting the fixed line. Due to this sad incident, we returned to the base camp. [pic taken from Manaslu CIII]
Today, after two days of rest and planning at the base camp, our team is moving to Camp-I. The team will skip C-II continuing to C-III on the 1st of October. On the 2nd, they will climb to C-IV with the target to reach the summit on the 3rd of October. This time we are well prepared and aware of the hazards to make it happen.

Where we up to, Manaslu Expedition Update:
Today is the 12th day since we reached the Basecamp. Despite the continuous rain and snowfall, we have been able to complete the final rotation and now ready for the summit push. Most of the expedition team planning for the summit push on 22nd Sep had to postpone their summit plan due to blockage of the route because of heavy snowfall above Camp-I. Our team is relaxing at the base camp, waiting patiently for the best weather windows; we are very optimistic that we will make the most of it.
