Once travelers arrive in KTM, known as Kathmandu, they can see the highlights of Kathmandu and come away with an appreciation of the rich cultural heritage of this ancient city.
Kathmandu Durbar Square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is one of three squares within Kathmandu Valley in Nepal. Durbar Square means palace or court held by a prince and is a site for Buddhist and Hindu rituals, holy ceremonies, royal events, and dynastic coronations. The art and crafts of Nepal, fostered by ancient Hindu and Buddhist culture, are of astonishing richness, especially in the valley of Kathmandu, Patan, and Bhaktapur are very rich in religious shrines, arts, and architecture. These cities describe as open-air museums.
Ghandruk offers the majestic view of Annapurna mountain and a splendid sunrise and sunset. The Ghandruk trek is famous for its unique Gurung culture, the beautiful village, geographical differences, and the fantastic views of the mountains of Annapurna (7,219 m), Machhapuchhare (6,993 m), and Himchuli (6,411 m).
Mount Machapuchare is one of the adventures peak in the Himalayas region, known as Fish Tail Mountain. It locates at an elevation of 6,993 meters near the Annapurna Himalayas of north-central Nepal. Nicknamed 'fishtail mountain' after the shape of its peak, Machapuchare is sacred in the Hindu religion as the home of Lord Shiva. For this reason, climbing the summit is strictly off-limits, and very few (if any) have ever set foot on the mountain top. Some places are for the presence of Gods only.
Pokhara is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Nepal. Many tourists visit Pokhara Valley to see the Himalayan range and lakes. Pokhara is also famous for boating, trekking, and extreme sports like rafting, canoeing, and bungee jumping. September to November is the best time to visit Pokhara; it is also considered the peak tourist season. December to February are the coldest months in Pokhara. The winter continues till March since Pokhara is in proximity to the Himalayas; the peak months are when tourists indulge in trekking and hiking.
