Pharping  is a small Newar town lying above the Bagmati river on the southern edge of the Kathmandu valley, about 23 km from the capital. It is now part of the Dakshinkali Municipality
The town and its environs is the site of several important Buddhist pilgrimage sites as well as a number of Buddhist monasteries and meditation retreat centres.
About 1 km south of the town is the Dakshinkali Temple, one of the main Hindu temples of Nepal dedicated to the mother goddess Kali.

Congratulations !!! on the successful summit of the 8th highest peak Mt. Manaslu, this morning straight away from Camp III to the top, even after an avalanche stuck between C3-C4 yesterday(26th Sept).

Everest base camp trekking

Day 1: Arrival at Kathmandu international airport and transport to hotel
Day 2: Fly to lukla ( 2800m) and trek to phakding (2652m) 3-4 hrs.
Day 3: trek to Namche Bazzar (3440m) 5-6 hrs.
Day 4: Rest day at Namche Bazzar.
Day 5: Trek to tengboche (3870m) 5-6 hrs.
Day 6: Trek to Dingboche (4360m) 5-6 hrs.
Day 7: Rest day at Dingboche.
Day 8: Trek to lobuche (4940m) 4-5 hrs.
Day 9: Trek to Gorak Shep (5170m)- Everest base camp (5364m) and retrace Gorak Shep. 8-9hrs
Day 10: Hike to Kalapatthar Sunrise and Trek down to Pheriche (4280m) 5-6 hrs
Day 11: Trek down to Pangboche – Tengboche to Namche Bazzar (3440m) 5-6 hrs
Day 12: Trek down to lukla (2800m) 6-8 hrs.
Day 13: Fly Back to Kathmandu.

At a height of 4,380 meters above sea level, Gosaikunda is situated in Rasuwa's Langtang National Park. From Rasuwa, Nuwakot, and Sindhupalchok, there are four different routes one can take to get to Gosaikunda:
1. Kathmandu-Dhunche-Gosaikunda
2. Melamchi-Kutumsang-Thadepati-Gosaikunda
3. Sundarijal-Kutumsang-Gosaikunda
4. Ghyangphedi-Yars
Gosaikunda is a reasonable blend of experience and spirituality and both thrilling and serene trekkers route.
