Day 1:Arrival in Kathmandu. Welcome at international airport and transfer to the hotel in bustling Thamel district.Overnight at Hotel Holy Himalaya
Day 2:After breakfast we will begin our sightseeing at Pashupatinath, Nepal's holiest Hindu pilgrimage site. A melee of temples, statues, pilgrims and holy men centred around the sacred Bagmati River.
Although it was badly damaged in last year's earthquakes we will then hopefully go on to visit the great white Buddhist stupa at Boudhanath. One of the worlds largest stupas and home to a thriving Tibetan Buddhist community.
After lunch travelling up to the tranquil Kopan Monastery. A quiet retreat from the bustling city with wonderful views across the valley

Day 3:Full day sightseeing in the ancient old city of Bhaktapur a Unesco world heritage site
Day 4:Early morning flight to Pokhara. Free day to explore the city. Pokhara lies on the shores of Phewa Lake where there are incredible views of the Himalayas (the Annapurna and Manaslu ranges) and Fishtail Mountain standing at 8000metres 25km to the north of the city.Overnight at Hotel Temple Tree and dinner at the Hungry Eye
Day 5:Today we start our trek early, driving out to Phedi (820m) which takes approximately 45 minutes. From here the tracking trail climbs slowly upwards passing through several villages via Dhampus reaching our first nights stop at Pothna (1890m). From here there are breathtaking views of the Himalayas. Dhaulagiri ,Nilgiri, and Anapurna.Overnight at tea house. Walking time approximately 5 hours
Day 6:From Pothna we head to Landrung (1890m - 1640m)From Pothna we ascend for 1 hour to Deurali. From there the trail leads down through the beautiful rhododendron forest and then flattens off, passing through Bhasikharga, Tolka and reaching Landruk (1640m) with magnificent views of the southern Annapurna range.Overnight at tea houseWalking time approximately 4hours
Day 7:Today we leave Landruk. The trail descends to the Modi Khola River and follows the course of the river passing through villages all the way to Nayapul. About a 5 hour walkAt Nayapul our transportation waits to take us back to Pokhara and overnight at the Hotel
Day 8:Full day in Pokhara relaxing, sightseeing or boating on the lake
Day 9:Today we begin our journey south, driving to Gorkha, the ancestral home of the Nepali royal family perched on a hilltop. Explore the old town this afternoon and overnight at the Gorkha Gaun Resort
Day 10:Drive to Chitwan National Park home to elephant, rhinoceros and tigers. Walking safari in the afternoon and visit the elephant breeding project. Overnight at The Royal Park Hotel
Day 11: Full day in the park. Elephant back safari through the jungle
Day 12:Drive back to Kathmandu. Overnight at Hotel Patan Inn in the Patan district - the city of artisans and the oldest city in the Kathmandu valley
Day 13:Full day sightseeing visiting the fascinating Durbar Square at Patan, the ancient Royal palace. In the afternoon we can take a trip across the city to Swayambhu Temple (also known as the monkey temple) sitting magnificently on a conical hill with magnificent views across the Kathmandu Valley Farewell dinner
Day 14:Transfer to Kathmandu airport for our flights home
