Today, the Khandbari Education, Trust (a local NGO), organized a jumper distribution program for 38 children studying at Janachana Basic School. The event, held under the chairmanship of Mr. Shri Prasad Shrestha, the chairperson of the School Management Committee
In the program key figures such as Mr. Krishna Prasa Tamang, the Chairperson of Khandbari Education Trust, Mr. Deb Bahadur Magar, the Chairperson of Municipality Ward-7, Mr. Jhalak Kusule, a Ward 7 member, and Mr. Tejanath Pokharel, the Secretary of Khandbari Education Trust, along with other committee members, school staff, and children's guardians were present.
In the program Mr. Krishna Prasad Tamang, the chairperson of Khandbari Education Trust shared insights into the history of Khandbari Education Trust and acknowledged the support of its donor, Mr. Arthur Orr from the USA. Mr. Dev Bahadur Magar, the Ward chairperson, expressed sincere gratitude to Khandbari Education.
Janachana Basic School is located in a remote village of Khandbari municipality, catering to 38 students in grades one to three, mainly from economically disadvantaged families. With winter approaching, the children received sweaters, bringing joy not only to them but also to their parents who appreciated the support provided to their children.
