Makalu (8485 m) is the fifth highest mountain in the world. It is located in the Mahalangur Himalayas 19 km southeast of Mount Everest, on the border between Nepal and Tibet Autonomous Region, China.

One of the eight-thousanders, Makalu is an isolated peak whose shape is a four-sided pyramid.

Makalu has two notable subsidiary peaks: Kangchungtse, or Makalu II (7,678 m) lies about three kilometres north-northwest of the main summit.

Makalu was first summited on May 15, 1955 by Lionel Terray and Jean Couzy of a French expedition led by Jean Franco.

Makalu was first climbed in winter on February 9, 2009 by Italian Simone Moro and Kazakh Denis Urubko.

Cooked food tends to have a shorter shelf-life, especially if it's been overhandled, i.e. heated numerous times, touched with used utensils.

To make your cooked food last longer, freeze it till the moment you want to eat it.

If possible, heat only the portion you want to eat.🤔

Switching up the routine a bit with my morning cup of joe for some delicious Golden Milk! Tumeric is the real star of this drink, add it to warmed milk (or milk alternative) and you can add a number of spices for a variety of benefits. Boosting with anti-inflammatory effects include cinnamon and ginger to offer a warm digestive aid. A little pepper enhances ability to absorb curcumin content of tumeric offering a useful free radical neutralizer. Matcha if that dose of caffeine fix is needed. A little honey sweetener to delight the taste buds. Add just a dribble of raw coconut oil or my favorite, toasted sesame seed oil on top!
