Trip Itinerary

DAY 1 Kathmandu Arrival.
Your Arrival Time (?) Upon your arrival, complete immigration formalities and collect your baggage, which may take one and half hours. Our representative will meet and greet you at Kathmandu airport in Nepalese style before es**rting you to your hotel, and also give you a short briefing about the tour program.
Note: If you have an early flight to Kathmandu and have some free time this day, you can add some sightseeing as per your interest.

DAY 2 Kathmandu Sightseeing, Drive to Nagarkot.
At. 08:00 AM: Have your breakfast at the hotel and get ready for your sightseeing tour. you will visit UNESCO-listed world heritage sites such as Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambhunath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple, and Boudhanath. Once you complete your sightseeing, where you will travel through the historical lane.

At 03:00 PM: Once you finish your sightseeing, you’ll directly drive towards Nagarkot, which is 30 km east of Kathmandu and takes about 1 hour to reach from there. Get ready to escape the hustle and bustle of the city areas. As you reach the resort, take a rest and relax yourself. You can also visit the viewpoint to enjoy the sunset.

Optional Activity: Everest Mountain Flight at 06:30 AM from Kathmandu airport to Kathmandu airport, a 50-minute flight that takes you for an aerial view of Mt. Everest and several other mountains. (INR 9,500 / USD 260 Per Person, window seat for all)

DAY 3 Drive to Pokhara , Visit Manakamana Temple.
At. 08:00 AM: Enjoy a fulfilling breakfast at the resort and set out for Pokhara. The distance between Nagarkot and Pokhara is about 222 km, which takes about 7 to 8 hours by road. On the way, you can visit Manakamana Temple by cable car ride, which offers a beautiful view of the surrounding landscape, adding extra charm to your journey. You can also have your lunch near the temple area. Or, if you want, you can also participate in river rafting on the Trishuli River. Both Manakamana Temple visits and Trishuli river rafting are optional activities. Once you reach, check in at the hotel in Pokhara and rest or explore around the city if you are interested.

Note: Manakamana cable car tickets are INR 670/person for a round trip, purchasable in advance or at the Kurintar base station. Also, Trishuli rafting (2-3 hours) requires extra clothing, so pack your bags accordingly, and costs may vary with the itinerary changes.

DAY 4 Sarangkot Sunrise, Pokhara Sightseeing.
At. 05:00 AM: Early in the morning, you will drive to Sarangkot viewpoint for a mesmerising sunrise view over the towering mountain peaks. The rays of sunrise painted over the sky while the mountain ranges stand golden will leave your jaw dropping. Enjoy the serene view of the mountain rains, as well as the most breathtaking sunrise over Pokhara City. Take some shots of the gorgeous Himalayas and sunrise, then return to your hotel for breakfast.

At. 10:00 AM: After having your breakfast at the Hotel you will get a certain time to participate in available optional activities in Pokhara. If you are not interested in any activities then you will visit Davis fall, Gupteshwar Mahadev Cave, Bindhyabasini Temple, Barahi Temple, and Phewa Lake. Besides that, you can enjoy a boat ride at Phewa Lake.

DAY 5 Drive to Chitwan.
At. 09:00 AM: After your breakfast, you will drive from Pokhara to Chitwan, famous for its lush forests, rich wildlife, and cultural richness. It will take about 6-7 hours to reach there, covering approximately 171 km. Upon arriving, check in at the hotel. Later, enjoy the sunset view from the Rapti River beach. You will also have the opportunity to experience the vibrant culture of the Tharu community, indigenous to the Terai region of Nepal, as there will be a Tharu cultural programme set up for you in the hotel.

DAY 6 Jungle Safari Activities.
At. 07:00 AM: Today is an exciting day, as you will immerse yourself in different activities amidst the encounter of various wildlife. After having a delicious breakfast, your day starts with a thrilling half day safari. You will be able to explore the diverse ecosystem of Chitwan National Park on a thrilling Jeep safari lasting 3–4 hours. You might also encounter wildlife during this safari. After the safari, return to the hotel for a hearty lunch waiting for you.

At. 03:30 PM: Your exploration continues with activities such as a canoe ride on a traditional wooden canoe. You can experience two kinds of crocodiles and various birds during the 45-minute ride on the Rapti River. Next, continue on a Jungle Walk with a knowledgeable naturalist who will provide you with more in-depth explanations of the various flora and fauna you see. Finally, make your last stop at the Elephant Breeding Centre, where you will have a chance to observe the habits and way of life of these majestic creatures. After a tiring day of enjoyment and unique experiences, return, refresh, and rest in the comfort of your resort.

DAY 7 Drive to Kathmandu.
At. 08:00 AM: Enjoy a fulfilling breakfast at the hotel and set out to be back in Kathmandu. The distance between Chitwan and Kathmandu is about 181 km, which takes about 6 to 7 hours by drive. After you check in at the hotel, refresh yourself. Later, you will have a free evening in Kathmandu. You can use your time for shopping and self exploring around Thamel, a major tourist hub where you can find diverse local shops, restaurants, and cafes. You can have your dinner in the area as per your interest.

DAY 8 Transfer to Airport, Farewell.
You can add any sightseeing on an additional basis or enjoy your leisure time at the hotel. We will transfer you to the Kathmandu airport 3 hours before your flight time. (A 30-minute drive from your hotel.)

Pashupatinath, Muktinath & Janakpur (6 Nights 7 Days)

Itinerary

Day 01: Kathmandu Arrival – Overnight in Kathmandu
Airport pickup and transfer to hotel. Welcome drink and check in.
Short briefing about your tour program. If any payment is due, then it will be collected during briefing time.

Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing (Half Day) and drive to Pokhara - Overnight in Pokhara
After Breakfast 08:00AM visit Pashupatinath Temple and Baudha Stupa (World Heritage Site, Spend 1 Hrs. ) & Jal Narayan Temple.
11:00 AM - Drive to Pokhara (200 KM – 6- 7 hrs. drive).

Day 03: Fly to Jomsom and drive to Muktinath - Overnight in Jomsom
Morning Fly to Jomsom (20 Min) ; 10 Min. walk to Hotel ( Luggage will be carry by hotel staff ) after refresh in the Hotel 15 Min walk to taxi stand and drive to Muktinath (20 Km /1 Hours).; Arrival at Ranipauwa (3710 m) and walk to Muktinath temple (60 min by walk). Take a holy bath.
Darshan and Pooja at Muktinath Temple. After Darshan drove back to Jomsom.

Day 04: Fly back to Pokhara and Pokhara Sightseeing (Half day) - Overnight in Pokhara
Morning fly to Pokhara. Transfer to hotel. Later, Half day sightseeing. Includes; Bindhyabasini temple, lake side, Davi’s fall, Gupteshwor cave.

Day 05: Drive back to Kathmandu - Overnight in Kathmandu
8:00 AM – After breakfast, drive back to Kathmandu. On the way visit Manakamana temple ( Cable car ticket of your own ).

Day 06: Fly to Janakpur and Visit Janaki Temple. – Overnight in Kathmandu.
Early in the morning 6:15AM - Drive to Kathmandu airport, 7:45 AM Fly to Janakpur.
Pickup from Janakpur airport and visit Janaki temple and Dhanusa Dham.
2:40 PM fly back to Kathmandu.

Day 07: Transfer to Airport
You will be free till your flight time. Transfer to the airport on time to board an outbound flight. (30 Min. drive).

Day 1:Kathmandu Arrival

Everest Expeditions Nepal airport representative will receive you at the airport and transfer you to the Hotel in Kathmandu as denoted in the itinerary. All the trip plans will be discussed. You will be given the permits and necessary documents which we will prepare before your arrival. The welcome dinner is organized and guides are introduced. Overnight at Hotel

Day 2:Kathmandu Sightseeing: Pashupatinath, Bouddhanath, Gujeswari and Jal Narayan. Evening Trip briefing at Hotel.

Today after a light breakfast, we visit a variety of places in Kathmandu valley. You will explore Pashupatinath Temple and worship lord Shiva and learn about the culture more vastly, next stop will be Guheswori Temple one of the holiest temple 1 km east of Pasupatinath on the bank of the Bagmati river. We will then drive a short distance to the Boudhanath Stupa. In Bouddha, wander the Tibetan-inspired streets and illustrate some local delicacies, Final destination will be Jalnarayan Temple (Sleeping Vishnu, Budanilkantha) which takes around 45 minutes and stretches into Shivapuri National Park, worship Lord Vishnu, and Transfer to Hotel. Day 3:Drive Kathmandu to Syabrubesi. Overnight at Hotel

After breakfast, we will take a private vehicle towards Syaprubesi, which takes around 6 hours roughly. The road is full of towns and terraced farmlands which is also an experience to gather and know about hilly Nepal. Stroll around Syaprubesi and observe their lifestyle. Take as many rests as possible as tomorrow we need to start our walking journey.

Day 4:Drive to Kerung by crossing the Tibet border. Overnight at Guest House

We will board a Tourist Bus after breakfast and begin our journey along the black-topped road to the freshly opened friendship bridge at the Nepal-Tibet border. In around 2 hours, we will arrive in Kerung, Tibet’s first village. Stroll around the village and enjoy the environment. Overnight at Kerung

Day 5:Drive Kerung to Saga. Overnight at Hotel

To get to the settlement of Saga, we’ll drive through the high hills on a nice black-topped road. The path climbs up and down the Thong La and La Lung hills before bringing us to the settlement of Saga in comfort. Along the route, we’ll visit Lake Peikutso and the Tibetan people’s traditional yak and sheep grazing techniques. Guesthouse for the night.

Day 6:Drive to Lake Mansarovar

We will today go to the world’s highest freshwater lake in the early morning after breakfast. The holy lake of Mansarovar, which is greenish-blue in color, is located at an altitude of 4558 meters. The lake is said to have formerly been Lord Bishnu’s resting place. Mt. Kailash, Mt. Gurula-Mandala, and Lake Rakshash surround it. The terrible King Ravan is said to have created Lake Rakshasa, which is why the villagers believe the water is poisoned.

Day 7:Exploration of Lake Mansarovar and drive to Darchen.

Today, we’ll immerse ourselves in the colors of religion by visiting the sacred lake of Mansarovar. We’ll perform a few rituals before heading to Darchen’s village. We will be able to see the sacred Mt. Kailash along the journey. Darchen used to be known as Lhara. The town is located directly in front of Mt. Kailash, which is considered sacred. Overnight at Darchen

Day 8:Drive to Yamadwar and Trek to Derapuk (First day of Kailash Kora)

We’ll drive to Tarboche, a little town. The Kailash Kora’s beginning point is Tarboche. Tarboche is home to Yamadwar, the god of death’s gateway. We’ll travel a few hours from here to the settlement of Derapuk, which sits in front of Mt. Kailash’s north face. Beautiful views of the Gurla-Mandala, Ape, Kamet, and other high peaks will be available today.

Day 9:Trek to Juthulpuk via Drolma La Pass (second day of Kailash Kora)

Today is Kailash Kora’s longest and most difficult trek day. To get to Juthulpuk, we’ll climb up Drolma La, the highest pass in the area. First, we’ll travel to Jarok Donkhang, a small Tibetan settlement. We will then hike towards the Shiva-tsal. People are said to die a symbolic death in Shiva-tsal before being reincarnated. Once they reach the summit of the Drolma La Pass, they are said to be reincarnated. We’ll have a break here for a while before descending steeply to the Lham-chu Khir River’s banks. Wefollow the river to the Khando Sangam La, which faces Mt. Kailash on the eastern side. We’ll arrive at the settlement of Juthulpuk. The location was named after the famed Juthulpuk Cave, also known as the Miracle Cave. We’ll be able to see the Buddha’s footprints along the road.

Day 10:Finish Kailash Kora and drive back to Saga (Third day of Kailash Kora)(Kora ends)

We’ll spend the morning exploring the caverns and temples surrounding the Milarepa cave. After breakfast, we’ll climb for 3-4 hours to finish our Kora and return to Darchen village. We’ll eat lunch there before returning to Saga village.

Day 11:Drive back to Kerung. Overnight at Guest House.

We’ll take a leisurely journey back to the town of Kerung. As we descend on a paved trail, we will have some free time. The rest of our time will be spent relaxing. Overnight at Kerung

Day 12: Drive back to Kathmandu. Overnight at Hotel

We will then drive back to Kathmandu crossing Nepal Tibet Border. Everest Expeditions Nepal will organize the farewell dinner at a Nepalese cultural restaurant. Stroll around Kathmandu valley or Thamel at night.

DAY 13: Transfer to Airport.

Final departure, nearly 2 hours before your scheduled flight, our company representative will take you to the airport. We assure you that you will get back to your home with the amazing holy experience of Kailash Manasarovar and Nepal. Trip Itinerary
DAY 1 Gorakhpur Arrival, Transfer to Lumbini.
Your Arrival Time (?) Our office representative or driver will pick you up from the Gorakhpur airport/railway stations and transfer to Lumbini. Upon reaching Lumbini, check-in at the hotel and rest for your tomorrow's drive to Pokhara.
DAY 2 Drive to Pokhara.
At. 08:00 AM : After your breakfast, start driving towards Pokhara (Approx. 7-8 hrs driving). After reaching Pokhara, check in at the hotel and take a rest for the next day's early morning flight to Jomsom.
DAY 3 Fly to Jomsom, Drive to Muktinath.
At. 06:00 AM: Today, early in the morning you will fly to Jomsom and have your breakfast at the hotel in Jomsom. Then by a private jeep/bus drive to Muktinath temple. Take a full day for your Puja at the temple. At 4:00 PM, complete your Darshan, Puja and Holy bath over there, later drive back to Jomsom for the night stay
Note: It takes a maximum of 1 hour of driving to reach Muktinath temple from Jomsom. After getting off the Jeep, you have to walk up for 30 minutes to reach the temple from the Jeep park. You can also choose to hire a pony on your own, which costs INR 800 for a two-way ride.
DAY 4 Fly back to Pokhara, Pokhara Sightseeing
At. 06:30 AM: Today, you will fly back to Pokhara and have your breakfast after the flight in Pokhara.
Note: An early morning check in at the hotel is subject to the room availability of the hotel since the standard check in time of the hotel is 2:00 PM.
At. 11:00 AM: Check in, freshen up, and get ready for your sightseeing tour of Pokhara. Today's sightseeing schedule will take you to the most natural and culturally significant landmarks in Pokhara. Your tour begins with a visit to Davis fall, Gupteshwar Mahadev Cave, Bindhyabasini Temple, Barahi Temple, and Phewa Lake. Besides that, you can enjoy a boat ride at Phewa Lake.
DAY 5 Drive to Kathmandu Visit Manakamana Temple.
At. 08:00 AM: After your breakfast, proceed to Kathmandu. On the way you can visit Manakamana temple by cable car. It takes approx. 3 hours to complete the sightseeing of the temple. After sightseeing you can have your lunch at the Manakamana restaurant, and continue drive to Kathmandu.
Note: The Manakamana cable car ticket price is INR 670 per person for a two-way ride. You can pay for the tickets in advance or directly take the tickets from the base station, Kurintar.
DAY 6 Kathmandu Sightseeing.
At. 09:00 AM: After your breakfast at the hotel, you will participate in full-day sightseeing of Pashupatinath Temple, Jal Narayan Temple, Swayambhunath Stupa, Patan Durbar Square, and Guhyeshwari Temple. Your transportation will arrive at the hotel to pick you up for sightseeing.

DAY 7 Drive to Lumbini.
At. 07:00 AM : After breakfast early in the morning start drive towards Lumbini (Bhairahawa). Lumbini is about 300 KM west from Kathmandu and takes 10 hours of drive to reach. Upon reaching check in at the hotel in Lumbini (Bhairahawa) and take a rest for the next morning visit to Lumbini cultural area.
DAY 8 Lumbini Sightseeing, Drive to Gorakhpur.

A well-planned religious journey to Nepal that includes visits to the country's major Hindu pilgrimage sites.
Trip Itinerary
DAY 1 Kathmandu Arrival.
Your Arrival Time (?) Our office representative will meet and greet you at Kathmandu Airport and transfer you to your hotel.
At. 06:00 PM: In the evening, we will meet for a short briefing about your tour programme. If you are arriving late (after 4 p.m.), then we will have a briefing the next morning during breakfast. If any payment is due, then it will be collected during the briefing time.
Note: If you have an early flight to Kathmandu and have some free time this day, you can add some sightseeing as per your interest.
DAY 2 Kathmandu Sightseeing.
At. 10:00 AM: After your breakfast at the hotel, you will participate in full-day sightseeing of Pashupatinath Temple, Jal Narayan, Patan Durbar Square, and Banglamukhi Temple. Your transportation will arrive at the hotel to pick you up for sightseeing.
Firstly, you will start with Pashupatinath Temple, a sacred Hindu pilgrimage site dedicated to Lord Shiva. You will wander through the maze of the temple, surrounded by small shrines, each with its own religious significance. Then, you will drive towards Jal Narayan Temple. Take your time to appreciate the intricate details of the reclining statue of Lord Vishnu, its size, and the open air settings. You can have your lunch in between the sightseeing, according to your timing and nearby places of interest.
Later in the afternoon, your next exploration will be at Patan Durbar Square, one of the three Durbar squares, where you will travel through the historical lane. After that, the final destination today will be Shree Banglamukhi Temple, which is about 600m from Patan Dhoka and a few minutes of walk from there. You can learn more about the temple’s history and significance while you observe the rituals and offerings made by the devotees. After your sightseeing, head back to your hotel and rest.
Optional Activity: You can also take part in the thrilling Everest Mountain Flight. It is a sightseeing adventure flight that departs at 06:30 AM from Kathmandu airport to Kathmandu airport, a 1 hour flight that takes you to the stunning aerial view of Mt. Everest (8848 m) and several other mountains such as Lhotse (8516 m), Kanchenjunga (8586 m), Shishapangma (8027 m), Nuptse (7881 m), Ganesh (7422 m), and Chamlang (7319 m).
DAY 3 Fly to Lumbini, Lumbini Sightseeing.
At. 08:00 AM: Today is another sightseeing day as you proceed for your flight to Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha, after your breakfast. It takes a 30 minutes of flight to reach Bhairahawa from Kathmandu and a 30-40 minute drive from Bhairahawa airport to Lumbini.
At. 10:00 AM: In Lumbini, you will see the Mayadevi temple, the main shrine of Lumbini. Inside the temple, you will observe the Marker Stone, the Nativity Sculpture, and various structure ruins. Besides that, visit Ashok Pillar, Bodhi Tree, and several other attractive monasteries around the main temple. As you explore the sites, you can feel the serene atmosphere signified by the sites.
At 05:00 PM: Once your sightseeing ends, you will drive back to Bhairahawa towards your hotel.
DAY 4 Fly to Pokhara, Pokhara Sightseeing.
At. 09:00 AM: Once you have your breakfast, you will fly to Pokhara from Bhairahawa, which will be a 20 minute flight.
At. 10:00 AM: Check in, freshen up, and get ready for your sightseeing tour of Pokhara. Today's sightseeing schedule will take you to the most natural and culturally significant landmarks in Pokhara. Your tour begins with a visit to Davis Falls, locally known as Patale Chhango. Witness the powerful force of the fall while soaking yourself in its beauty. Next, you’ll explore the mystical Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, which is a short walk from Davis Falls. You will see the artistic formation of the cave as the beautiful waterfall cascades down and cuts through the cave. Your tour continues with a visit to the Bindhyabasini Temple, a sacred temple dedicated to Goddess Bhagwati, an incarnation of Durga. Witness the religious significance as you see the locals as well as Hindu devotees involved in different rituals. As for the last stop today, you’ll be taken to the Taal Barahi Temple, located in the middle of the Phewa Lake. To reach the temple, you will have to take a boat. Here, you can see the different rituals and pujas done by the devotees around the temple. If you’re on time, you can also witness the evening aarti session of the Barahi Temple. After your sightseeing, you will be es**rted back to your hotel. In the evening, you can explore the city on your own, relax in the lakeside vibe, and have a delicious dinner accompanied by the night view of the lake.
DAY 5 Fly to Jomsom, Drive to Muktinath Temple.
At. 06:30 AM: Today you will take an early morning flight to Jomsom from Pokhara, which is about 15-20 minutes of flying time. Check-in at the hotel in Jomsom, have your breakfast there, and drive to Muktinath by private jeep.
The distance between Jomsom and Muktinath is around 23 km, which takes around 1-2 hours to drive to reach the vehicle station in Muktinath. Explore the sacred site, witness the religious practices, or take a purifying dip in the 108 watersprouts behind the temple. You will find various restaurants around the base of the temple where you can have your lunch.
Note: After getting off the Jeep, you have to walk up for 30 minutes to reach the temple from the Jeep park. You can also choose to hire a pony on your own, which costs somewhere around INR 800 for a two-way ride.
After Darshan and Pooja, drive back to Jomsom for a night's stay.
DAY 6 Fly to Kathmandu, Bhaktapur Sightseeing.
At. 07:00 AM: Today, early in the morning after breakfast, you will fly back to Pokhara. There will be a connecting flight from Pokhara that will take you back to the Kathmandu valley.
Note: Flights from Jomsom to Pokhara depend on the weather. We will arrange a private 4WD Jeep for you if your flight is cancelled. Group size will affect Jeep costs. Driving back, you must pay a TIMS permission charge (INR 1000 per person) at the checkpoint.
At. 11:30 AM: You can start your Bhaktapur sightseeing straight from the airport or also visit after checking in at the hotel and a short refreshment. It will be a half-day of sightseeing around Bhaktapur. Explore around the square and appreciate the unique historical and cultural heritage of the square. You will have various restaurants suitable for you to have your lunch at. You can have your lunch around the square, which provides a variety of restaurants and eateries with authentic Newari cuisines and other national/continental cuisines catering to your needs. Besides Bhaktapur Durbar Square, you will also visit Doleshwor Mahadev and Kailashnath (Tallest Mahadev Statue). In Doleshwor, you can witness and, if you wish, participate in the Hindu worship rituals. Kailashnath Shiva Statue, which is about 8 km from Bhaktapur, offers a breathtaking view of Kathmandu Valley with a leisurely stroll through the well maintained garden surrounding the statue.
At. 04:00 PM: After your sightseeing, your transportation service will es**rt you back to your hotel.
DAY 7 Fly to Janakpur, Back to Kathmandu.
At. 08:00 AM: Have your breakfast at the hotel in Kathmandu and start your drive to Kathmandu airport for your flight to Janakpur. It takes around 30 minutes by flight to reach Janakpur. Our representative will pick you up from Janakpur airport and es**rt you to the Janaki temple for your exploration. In Janakpur, you will visit the main shrine, Janaki Temple, and offer your prayers to Goddess Sita, or you can just participate as an observer to witness the daily ritual performed by the priests. You can also take your time to appreciate the architectural beauty of the temple, which is an attraction in itself. The temple is vast and encompasses other smaller shrines dedicated to different deities. Along with the temple, visit religious sites such as Vivah Mandap, Ram Mandir, and Dhanush Sagar.
At. 4:00 PM: Your sightseeing will be completed by 4 PM, and you will drive back to Janakpur airport for your flight back. Our vehicle will es**rt you back to the hotel from the airport. You can use your evening time for shopping and self exploring around Thamel, a major tourist hub where you can find diverse local shops, restaurants, and cafes. You can have your dinner in the area as per your interest.
DAY 8 Transfer to Airport.
As you enjoy your last breakfast at the hotel, the time to go back is already here. You can have some time of your own or add some additional activities until your flight time. Our company representative will es**rt you to the Kathmandu airport 3 hours before your flight. Have a safe journey back!
