From mid-June to early September, Nepal's monsoon season is ideal for trekking in remote regions like Mustang and Dolpo, as well as other parts of the country that stay dry thanks to being in the rain shadow. It's also a great time of year for a cultural trek, and perfect if you prefer having the trails to yourself as Nepal's most popular treks are usually quiet during this period. (That said, you'll have to beware of leeches in low-altitude forested areas leeches, and be flexible with regards to your travel schedule as weather-related trip interruptions can be common.)

Chitwan National Park, a UNESCO Heritage Site, is a vast nature reserve in the southern lowlands of Nepal. Chitwan is Nepal's first national park established in 1973. Within the Himalayan subtropical broadleaf forests, there is an exceptional diversity of flora and fauna, including 68 mammal species and more than 500 bird species.

Yartsa Hunting: The one and only income source for Dolpopas. Every year thousands of people different regions overflow in Dolpo for hunting precious fungus. Lately the number of Yartsa seems to be decreasing and the reason behind its yet not clear as far as know. There are assumptions that it might due over harvesting. Similarly, due to overflow of people the pastureland and its environment has been heavily affected. Due which hundreds of cattles dies in winter every as pastureland are being destroyed every year!

Mt. Dhaulagiri is the 7th highest mountain in the world and 5th in Nepal which is located in the Northwest of Myagdi District in Nepal. “Dhavala” means “White” and “Giri” means “Mountain peak” from Sanskrit is a real giant, which endorse to say the range of White Mountains as Dhavala+giri hereafter called Mt. Dhaulagiri in combined.

The altitude of Mt Dhaulagiri is (8,167m) from sea level. Mt. Dhaulagiri is one of the most formidable peaks to climb.The first successful summit was possible only in 1960 by the Swiss following from the Northeast ridge.

The sign says , " NOW YOU ARE ENTERING THE RESTRICTED AREA OF " UPPER MUSTANG " .it is not allowed to proceed further from here without holding special permit issued by department of immigration , Kathmandu.

Mustang was an ancient forbidden Kingdom bordered by the Tibetan plateau and sheltered by some of world's tallest peaks like Annapurna and Dhaulagiri.
Upper Mustang was restricted demilitarized area until 1992 . That makes it one of the most preserved in the world due to its relative isolation from the outside world 🇳🇵.....................................
