# # # # # Trip to the Annapurna base camp trekking
Before doing Annapurna base camp trekking I already been Annapurna Circuit trekking , P**n hill Ghandruk trekking so that I confidence myself to go Annapurna base camp trekking by asking the route in the tea houses. But when I speak more to the Annapurna base camp Clients at the time of the guest introduction, then my inexperienced thing about Annapurna trekking was leakage. I had a Chance to go Annapurna base camp trekking in 2002 as a guide. At that time I was not so matured because just have been involved tourism sector not more than 3 years. All the places I had not been even at the time of the becoming the trekking guide. To say true I had not been there before so that I was briefing the customer starting point of the Annapurna base camp trekking from Nayapul. My boss of the trekking agency heard my briefing about this trip and he beginning to ask me how many times I have been to the Annapurna base camp trekking?? That time Annapurna base camp trekking focusing from Dhampus phedi mostly. Actually, even I have not been Annapurna base camp trekking at that time , It was not mistake to say Starting point of the Annapurna base camp trekking from Nayapul. All the places might not been going even trekking guide. They did not ask me whether I have been or not before Annapurna base camp trekking.
I mention above that my struggle to go Annapurna base camp trekking as a Guide.
Day 1. Kathmandu to Pokhara First day driving to the Pokhara by the tourist Bus and stayed one night in the Pokhara.
Day 2, Second day , we drove by Car to the Phedi then up stairs to the Dhampus. Even short distance to go Dhampus Village from Phedi, it was some difficulty we felt. After reaching Dhampus Village we rest some time for tea and coffee then walking further two hours to go the Pothana. I was lure by the best views from the Pothana.
Day 3. Walking to the Lhandruk through the forest ridge to the Deurali then walking down to the Bhasikharka then access the Tolkha Village then walking to the rice terrace field and Finally reached the Landdruk Village. Landurk is the Gurung Village just across the Ghandruk Village and feel newness because I follow that route first time.
Day 4. Lhandruk to Chomrong :
Road was not difficult but there is many Small streams and some tea houses after 1 hours distance from the Lhandruk Village. We took launch at the Jhinu Danda then Climb up to the Chomrong . Actually from Jhinu to Chomrong , it was steeply up. After reaching the Chomrong, we stayed the hotel Chomrong then enjoy the time talking with the different customer.
Day 5. Chomrong to Himalaya hotel
Chomrong to the Himalaya hotel we been in the evening time there are three tea house before Himalaya hotel after deparatue from the Chomrong Village which is the first and last village before and after Annpuarna base camp trekking.
Day 6. Himalaya hotel to the Deurali due to the Sick
One of the friends sick among us 3 , he name was Hang and when we up from the Himalaya hotel to the Deurali , on the way he feel uncomfortable so they (two ) are decided to stay in the Deurali. Himalaya hotel to Deurali also not so much far only 2 hours maximum even slow walking. I decided to go Annapurna base camp so that tomorrow will be easy. After they take a launch, then I leave deurali to go Annapurna base Camp. Because of the passion and more willing power I reached the Annapurna base camp then take a cup of tea , I meet the recognized People at the Annapurna base camp hotel.I come back in the evening time again in Deurali and rejoined them at the Deurali guest house.
Day 7. Deurali to the Annpuarna base camp
Tomorrow I again prepare to go Annapurna base camp trekking. Today, i am quite experience and confidence to go Annapurna base camp then previous days. Slowly walking up to the MBC (Machhapuchre Base camp ) then gently and slightly up to the Annapurna base camp. Again , the situation of the Hang at the night time becoming some worse . He did not eat much in the evening.

Day 8. Annapurna base Camp to the Bamboo
Morning time with breakfast and Glance views of the Annapurna himaayas with HImchuli, Annpurna South, Singa Chuli, Gannaurna we come down same way to the Bamboo. After Chormong there is only one way to up Annpurna base camp and same way to down. We stayed at the Bamboo Guest house which is only 1 hours walking distance from Dovan.
Day 9. Bamboo the Chomrong
Bamboo to Chormong just has a 3 hours walking distance. From Bamboo to come back Sinuwa 2 hours , some Separated little gorges makes more time but views is better and excellent to walk Bamboo forest. Still excellent the Top ridges Views of the Fishtail.
Day 10. Chomrong to Ghandruk
Chomrong To Ghandruk Another days Via Kimrong Khola and Danda. Taking a Launch at the Kimrong Khola and moving up to Khimrong danda from Kimrong Khola.Then, Down to the Ghandruk Village. We enjoyed to stay in the Hotel trekkers Lodge in the Ghandruk.
Day 11. Ghandruk to Pokhara
Enjoy the best home stay Village Ghndruk then down to the Shaulibazzar and bank of the Modhi khola arrived in Birethathi. Again half an hours walking from Birethathi to Nayapul then ride a local bus to come Pokhara.
Day 12. Pokhara to Kathmandu
Morning by tourist Bus we back to Kathmandu. Talking the memory of the eyes we celebration the days in the Pokhara and comfortably come back to Kathmandu from Pokhara. My Annapurna base camp trekking memory still in my eyes I suppose it was just yesterday but already become 18 years. Any way iam now happy , minimum I been there more time. Now since long time I have not been there but again like to fresh my memory by going Annapurna base camp trekking.
