Day 01: Kathmandu Arrival (1350m).

Day 02: Kathmandu sightseeing and trek preparation.

Day 03: Fly to Lukla and trek to Phakding (2652m).3 hours walk

Day 04: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3440m). 5 hours walk

Day 05: Acclimatization day in Namche Bazaar

Day 06: Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3860m).

Day 07: Tengboche to Dingboche (4410m). 4 to 5 waking hours.

Day 08: Acclimatization at Dingboche. 4 to 5 hours

Day 09: Dingboche to Lobuche (4910m).4 to 5 hours

Day 10: Trek to Everest Base Camp (5364m) via Gorekshep (5181m). 5/6 hours

Day 11: Hike to Kalapattar (5545m), descend to Gorakshep – Pheriche (4210m). 5/6 hours

Day 12: Pheriche to Namche Bazaar. (3440m) 5/6 hours

Day 13: Namche Bazaar to Lukla. (2800 M)

Day 14: Fly back to Kathmandu.

airport in the town of Lukla in Khumbu
The airport is popular because Lukla is the place where most people start the climb to Mount Everest Base Camp . There are daily flights between Lukla and Kathmandu during daylight hours in good weather. Although the flying distance is short, rain commonly occurs in Lukla while the sun is shining brightly in Kathmandu. High winds, cloud cover, and changing visibility often mean flights can be delayed or the airport closed.

The Bhaktapur Durbar Square in the historic town of Bhaktapur, located 13 km east of Kathmandu, is one of the three main Durbar Squares in the Kathmandu Valley. This complex was the royal palace of the ancient kings of Bhaktapur.

Witness some of the most magnificent and historic structures in all of Kathmandu with buildings such as the 55-Window Palace, Vatsala Temple, Nyatapola Temple and the Golden Gate which display the culture and craftsmanship unique to the people of Bhaktapur. The Bhaktapur Durbar Square is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site and is definitely worth the visit if you're ever in Kathmandu.

Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla airport and follow the trail that travels along the banks of the thundering Dudh Koshi River.
Reach Namche Bazaar on third day of the trip. Travel past the Sherpa villages of Debuche, Dingboche and Lobuche to reach Gorakshep, a small settlement (5,164m) that sits on the edge of a frozen, sand-covered lakebed,reaching Everest Base Camp, located in the middle of the Khumbu Glacier.
