Kailash Mansarovar Yatra by helicopter is a spiritual tour package which fulfills your thirst of visiting Mt. Kailash and holy lake Mansarovar. This is an easier and faster way to complete the tour. It is preferable for elders as well as people who are physically weak to move on difficult terrain of Kailash Mansarovar Yatra. The helicopter journey covers distance till Nepalgunj on land then to Hilsa by Helicopter and then by a drive to Manasarovar.
Mount Kailash isn’t only a mountain, it is a symbol of belief and faith among four religions: Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism & Bon. The mountain lies near lake Manasarovar and lake Rakshastal. It is the source of four major holy rivers in Asia: the Indus, Sutlej, Brahmaputra and Karnali. People who aren’t able to perform a holy bath at Lake Manasarovar go into above rivers with the same belief and faith.

Mansarovar is another holy place which lies north of Mt. Kailash. Like Mt. Kailash also has its own religious value among some religions. They have their own beliefs and faith about Kailash Mansarovar Yatra as per their devotional texts.
Tibet, naturally rich and beautiful, is located in the South-West part of China. Potala Durbar, unique Buddhist culture, rare wildlife, snow capped mountains, Yarlung Tsangpo river, ancient ruins, places and monasteries are some major attractions around Tibet. Lhasa is the capital of Tibet.
In peak tourist season, daily flights are available between Kathmandu and Lasha. During the off season there are 3 flights available in a week. In the flight time also you could get a chance to explore the spectacular mountains, which are lying by the Nepal and Tibet border.
Trip Itinerary
Day 1 Kathmandu Arrival
Your Arrival Time (?) Our representative will meet and greet you at Kathmandu Airport and transfer to your Hotel.
At. 06:00 PM: We will give a short briefing about your tour program. If you are arriving late (after 4PM) then we will have a briefing next morning at 9:00AM.

Day 2 Kathmandu Sightseeing and Fly to Nepalgunj
At. 08:00 AM: After your breakfast, you will visit a half day of sightseeing in Kathmandu which includes Pashupatinath temple and Mata Guheswari temple.
At. 12:30 PM: Return back to your hotel, take your lunch, check out from the hotel and drive to the airport, fly to Nepalgunj. Overnight stay at Hotel in Nepalgunj.

Day 3 Fly from Nepalgunj to Simikot (2910 m)
At. 07:00 AM: Early in the morning after tea, you will drive to Nepalgunj airport to catch the flight to Simikot. Simikot (2910m) is the district Headquarter of Humla, a mountain district of Nepal. It is also a gateway to the Kailash tour by Helicopter. You will spend the rest of the day there to acclimatize and if you will have a little more time, you will do a short trek around Simikot. In the meantime we will finish immigration process on the Nepal side. Overnight stay at a hotel in Simikot.

Day 4 Simikot - Hilsa - Taklakot.
At. 07:00 AM: After breakfast, we will walk to Simikot airport and take a helicopter to Hilsa. It takes 20 minutes to reach Hilsa. You will see the scenic view of green hills and snow capped mountains along with the deep river gorge of River Karnali from the helicopter. After a 30 minutes walk from Hilsa, we will reach the immigration office and we will get the pass to enter Tibet. Our vehicle will be waiting for us on the Tibet side. After a 45 minutes drive, we will arrive at Taklakot/Purang (4025 m). Overnight stay at Hotel in Taklakot.

Day 5 At Taklakot – Rest Day – Free for Acclimatization
You will stay a rest day here in Taklakot for altitude acclimatization.

Day 6 Drive from Taklakot to Lake Mansarovar (4550 m)
At. 07:00 AM: After breakfast, we drive to the holy and beautiful lake MANSAROVAR (4550m). It is 88 km from Taklakot to Mansarovar which will take 1.5 hours. RAKSHAS TAL is another lake on the way to Mansarovar; we stop there for a few minutes to catch an amazing beauty of the lake. Then we continued to drive to Mansarovar. When we arrive at Mansarovar, we will take a rest with lunch at the guest house; and we will be ready for Mansarovar kora with a vehicle. It is the most auspicious day for us as we will see the first glimpse of holy Kailash and sacred Lake Mansarovar. We will take a holy bath on the bank of Mansarovar. Overnight stay at Guest house in Mansarovar.

Day 7 Drive to Yama Dwara Trek to Deruphuk (4909 m) - 12 Km
At. 07:30 AM: After your breakfast drive towards Yama Dwate via Darchen and start your trek. Yamadwar (Tarboche) is the starting point of Kailash Parikrama. Tarboche is also well known as an outer “Asthapath”. It is one of the exciting days walking along the beautiful rocky cliffs; waterfalls with some clouds in the clear blue sky which makes you feel that Great God Shiva is everywhere with tons of blessing to you. We see Ganesh Parwat on its side. Time to time the north face of Kailash Parbat will keep on appearing. Overnight at the guest house. If you are not doing Parikrama, then you will be waiting at Darchen till the group returns from Parikrama; we will arrange accommodation and meals.

Day 8 Trek to Zuthulphuk (4760 m) - 22 km.
At. 08:00 AM: After breakfast, we trek to the east face of Kuberknuda pass (5700 m) and then descending gradually to Zuthulphuk (4760m). Yamasthal should be crossed to reach the Shiva-sthal while your steps go towards the Kuberkunda pass with climbing ropes and other equipment. Once we reach the top we see many spectacular views of the east face of Mt. Kailash and the origin of the Uma River which is not possible from other spots. From the top, we also can catch the close view of Nandi Hill, Asthapath and more. Then we descended towards Zuthulphuk passing moving rocks. By late afternoon we will arrive in Zuthulphuk- the cave of Miracles, the great ascetic Milerappa is supposed to have performed miracles here. Overnight at Guest house, Breakfast, Packed Lunch; Dinner at Guest House.

Day 9 Zutulphuk to Hilsa or Simikot - 8 km trek.
At. 06:00 AM: After early breakfast, we will walk 3 hours to catch our vehicle to the Nepal border. Our staff will prepare lunch in Darchen (on the way to Hilsa). After lunch we will continue to drive to the Nepal border. We will make immigration procedures to exit Tibet and do a short walk to Hilsa on the Nepal side. Dinner and Overnight at a guest house in Hilsa or Simikot. in Hilsa very normal Basic accommodation available so we will try to reach Simikot if Time and weather permit.
Hilsa Altitude : 3640M

Day 10 Hilsa to Simikot, fly to Nepalgunj and fly back to Kathmandu.
At. 06:00 AM: If you stayed in Hilsa then early in the morning, fly by Heli to Simikot. You will catch another flight to Nepalgunj. Drive to the hotel at Nepalgunj, have lunch and take a rest for a while, in the evening 4:00 PM drive to the airport, fly to Kathmandu. Dinner and overnight at Kathmandu.

Day 11 Transfer to Airport
Nearly 3 hours before your scheduled flight, our company representative will take you to the airport. We are sure; you will get back to your home with the amazing and holy experience of Kailash Manasarovar and Nepal. If anyone would like to go to Muktinath then the itinerary will be added as per the route.
