Ghorepani Trek

This is one of the best short treks from Pokhara. It is popular because of the great views it offers. With a maximum elevation of 3210 m, the trek is considered a moderate one with easy trails requiring less equipment and expertise.

Outline Itinerary
Day 01: Drive Kathmandu to Pokhara
Day 02: Drive to Ulleri and trek to Gorepani
Day 03 – Day 05: Trekking
Day 06: Drive back to Kathmandu

It is a short trek to Holy Lake Gosaikunda that has a great religious significance. The Lake is one of the most famous religious and pilgrimage sites of Nepal located at an altitude of 4,380 m.

Besides pilgrimage tour, this trek also provides traveller an experience of Himalayan alpine zone along with glimpse of the towering Ganesh Himal, Langtang Himal and Annapurna in far distance. While on trek we also explore Langtang National Park and the rich flora and fauna it offers combining with culture and lifestyle of the local Tamang people.
