The year 2007 was not a beginning for this Institution; rather it was an innovative involvement between GoldenGate Int'l College and F W Taylor College, whic
h has devoted more than a decade of academic involvement. The dream we have set for ourselves is to work towards establishing a University of excellence, imparting quality education for the students of our country so that they can stand shoulder to shoulder with students all over the world. It is with this end in view that a seasoned and experienced team of academic giants joined hands with a young, dynamic, enthusiastic and capable group of academicians and entrepreneurs to work together for the fulfillment of this dream of gargantuan proportions. This is not an easy task but with the vast wisdom and guidance of our most respected elders coupled with the astute efficacy of the core group, we are highly optimistic on attaining the desired results. This is a collective dream envisioned by a team grouped together in just the right proportion needed to provide that required thrust and sustenance for the efficient running of an Institution of higher learning. Yes, Henry John Cody's above expression quite suits with our principal aim which is to enable students to attain their academic potential in a conducive atmosphere provided by the College making them intellectually competent to use their qualifications to reach the highest levels in their chosen profession later in life. We also plan to inculcate in our students the values of our rich cultural heritage and moral education as we believe that "Education is for life, not just for living." The year 2007 marked the inception of GoldenGate International College envisioned by a group of academia with long standing experience and devotion in the field of teaching and learning. Ever since, the College has gradually picked up from strength to strength and at the end of the third academic session, we feel we have achieved a sizeable portion of our set goals, to say the least. The three years has seen the College gradually expand on the offered courses and programs. From starting out by offering the Science, Management and Humanities courses of the 10+2 Level under the Higher Secondary Education Board, we have successfully ventured into offering programs at the Bachelors level for different areas of Science such as B.Sc. Food Technology, B.Sc. Environmental Science along with B.B.S. (Bachelor of Business Studies) and B.A. (Bachelor of Arts) with major subjects Major English, BSW (Bachelor of Social Work), Sociology, Mass Communication, Economics, Rural Development and Psychology. All of the Bachelor programs mentioned above are run under the affiliation of Tribhuvan University, Kirtipur. At the Masters Level, the college offers degree for M.Sc. Physics, M.Sc. Microbiology, M.Sc. Environmental Science, M.A. English, M.A. Economics, M.B.S. (Master of Business Studies) affiliated to Tribhuvan University, Kirtipur. We have upcoming programs in the pipeline which can be envisioned to start sometime in the near future such as B.B.A. (Bachelor in Business Administration), BHM (Bachelor in Hotel Management), BIM (Bachelor in Information Management), M.Sc. In Chemistry, M.A. in Peace, Conflict and Development. This achievement of successfully running diverse programs within a short span of time marks our journey towards fulfilling our objective of establishing a University of academic repute in Nepal with the view of providing quality education for the students of the present generation of our country such that they can stand shoulder to shoulder with students all over the world and can prove themselves to be worthy researchers, academicians, medical personnel, engineers, managers, entrepreneurs and leaders. Lofty though our goal may be, we have the confidence in ourselves, coupled with zeal, enthusiasm, hard-work and perseverance that we can tread on this pathway to achieve academic excellence and the College can set standards of unprecedented academic excellence in the days to come.
