After spending a night in Kathmandu, our Inspirations Voyage Group (let by our long time friend from Canada, Jean Ricard) drove to Mulkot yesterday for overnight. They had a nice start of the trip by smooth flight to Lukla early this morning from Manthali and started the trek in the Khumbu Valley with our senior Sherpa guide Passang Thsering Sherpa & his Sherpa team.

Jayanthi Kuru-Utumpala climbed Mt. Everest on 21 May 2016 with our 2016 IMG Everest Expedition team and became the first person from Sri Lanka to summit Mount Everest. Now she retuned to Nepal with her friends to trek to Everest base camp. They had a good start of the trip by driving to Manthali (Ramechhap) and flying into Lukla early this morning and started the trek with our senior Sherpa guide Passang Thsering Sherpa.
