Day 3: Trekking from Beni to Darbang, 1180 m
Drive from Beni to Tatopani after breakfast. From here start to walk On the way, there's either a hot lunch prepared by the kitchen crew or you'll have a packed lunch with you and pick a nice spot for the lunch rest. When you arrive at the next camp site, the kitchen crew prepares hot drinks first. The tents are set up. Before dinner, you can take small excursions to the surrounding area or simply watch the hustle and bustle of the camp. The purpose is to deal as undisturbed and intensively as possible with the wonderful environment in the best of health. We hike in the little settled valley of Myangdi Khola (Khola = river) through populated farmland with rice, corn and millet fields over Babichaur to the larger settlement of Darbang, where the next tent camp stands at an altitude of about 1200 meters.
Walking time about 6-7 hours, ascent about 400 meters of altitude, descent about 200 meters of altitude, tent, (B/L/D)
Day 4: Trekking from Darbang to Phalai Gaon, 1810m
We cross the Myangdy Khola on a hanging gap, hike along the river to Phedi and then ascend to the Magar settlement of Dharapani, 1530 meters above the river. From here we have a very nice view of the snow peaks of the Dhaulagiri group, at one point we even see the Dhaulagiri I with a height of 8167 meters. In 1809, Lieutenant Webb surveyed at 8190 metres, the Dhaulagiri I was the first eight-thousander discovered and was considered the highest mountain on earth until the survey of the Kangchendzönga (8586 m) in 1838. In the constant mountain and mountain run our trekking leads through fertile mountain country to the settlement of Phalai Gaon (Gaon = village), where the tents stand.
Walking time 6-7 hours, ascent about 800 meters of altitude, descent about 200 meters of altitude, tent, (B/L/D)

Day 5: Trekking from Phalai Gaon to Naura Bhir, 1400 m
We descend into the side valley of the Dhara Khola over a suspension bridge and ascend to the other side of the Magar settlement Muri at an altitude of 1800 metres. The Magons are a Tibetan Burmese people and speak a language related to Tibetan. Via a side valley (Muri Khola) we descend to Myangdy Khola and along the river upwards to the camp area at Naura Bhir.
Walking time 6-7 hours, ascent about 200 meters of altitude, descent about 600 meters of altitude, tent, (B/L/D)
Day 6: Trekking from Naura Bhir to Boghara, 2100 m
Today we are embark on a longer stage. It leads along steep grass flanks, with several ascents and descents as well as beautiful views to the highest (Magar) settlement of Boghara, reached via a small pass with a height of 2300 meters. The wildly romantic, secluded Himalayan valley makes this day particularly memorable. Our storage area is located at the school of the settlement.
Walking time 6-7 hours, ascent about 1100 meters of altitude, descent about 400 meters of altitude, tent, (B/L/D)

Day 7: Trekking from Boghara to Dobang, 2520 m
Today we dive into the dense mountain jungle that surrounds the southern Himalayan flattening, marveling at the variety of exotic birds, the many colorful lizards and listening to the creaking of the trees in the wind. Finding away in this thicket of sling plants, ferns and bamboo is not always easy and after rains it can become uncomfortably slippery. At lunchtime we take our rest at Lapche Kharka (Kharka = Alm) at 2310 meters altitude. We move into the storage area on a clearing near Dobang.
Walking time about 6 hours, ascent about 700 meters of altitude, descent about 300 meters of altitude, tent, (B/L/D)

Day 8: Trekking from Dobang to Pakhaban, 3100 m
First, we stay in the dense mountain jungle and will cross two simple wooden bridges over Myangdi Khola, a photo opportunity with rarity value. The mountain urwald now passes in lighter rhododendron and coniferous forest. Via mountain flanks with rubble we reach our storage area at the clearing Pakhaban at an altitude of 3100 metres.
Walking time about 5 hours, ascent about 700 meters of altitude, descent about 100 meters of altitude, tent, (B/L/D)
Day 9: Trekking from Pakhaban to the "Italo-Basecamp," 3660 m
Today's stage is shorter and leads us to the "Italo Basecamp" at an altitude of 3660 metres. The tree line has now been reached and the view becomes free of a formidable scenery: Great Himalayan history was made here. We are under the terrifying, rocky west face of the Dhaulagiri, which rises almost vertically 4000 metres high. In 1988, a Kazakh Alpine-style expedition (!) opened a bold line over the direct West Pillar, a company that is quite comparable to the first passage of the mighty south face of the Dhaulagiri.
Walking time 5-6 hours, ascent about 700 meters of altitude, descent about 150 meters of altitude, tents, (B/L/D)

Day 10: Trekking from Italo-Basecamp to the "Japanese Basecamp" on the Chonbarbang Glacier, 4200 m
We cross the valley in the descent and ascent over steep passages (if necessary with rope protection) to the terrace of Pakoban. Now we enter a deeply incised valley bordered to the west by the walls of the high seven-thousand-endars Dhaulagiri II (7751 m), III (7715 m) and V (7618 m) and to the east by Dhaulagiri I. After the passage of the narrow valley, the terrain widens and the Chonbargang Glacier is reached. This is where the Myagdy Khola springs up, the course of which we followed for nine days. We move into the bin next to or on the rock-covered glacier at an altitude of about 4200 metres, overlooking the wild, glaciated northern flank of Dhaulagiri I.
Walking time 5-6 hours, ascent about 700 meters of altitude, descent about 150 meters of altitude, tent, (B/L/D)
Day 11: Trekking from the Japanese basecamp to the base camp of Dhaulagiri, 4650 m
A day for the eyes! On this great stage, landscape tableaus with Himalayan scenes await us, the likes of which they can't be more formidable. Over the Chonbargan Glacier we ascend gently ascending and now reach directly under the huge, almost 4000 meter high northern flank of the Dhaulagiri. In 1953, the two Swiss expedition mountaineers Peter Braun and Ruedi Schatz reached a height of 7600 meters (with bottle oxygen) via the northern flank, via the "pear route," so named after a rock formation in the upper part of the wall. To the west opens the view of the vast glacial mountains of Dhaulagiri II, III and V. The big destination, the Dhaulagiri-Basecamp, is in the middle of this scenery at an altitude of about 4740 meters on the glacier, overlooking part of the ascent route to Dhaulagiri I via the northeast of Sporn (Northeast Sporn (Normal Way).
Walking time about 4 hours, ascent about 550 meters of altitude, tent, (FMA)
Day 12: Reserve Day
Tent, (B/L/D)
Day 13: Cross-crossing French Col, 5360 m-crossing top Hidden Valley-Dhampus Pass, 5258m-Warehouse at 5100 m
Another stage of superlatives is ahead of us: "High up" in the Himalayas, a far cry from any civilization, we visit legendary squares of alpinist history. After an early departure, we ascend to the French-Col. It was named because in 1950 the French saw Lionel Terray, Luis Lachenal and Gaston Rebuffat from here for the first time saw the Dhaulagiri as "impossible to climb" and climbed Annapurna I (8091 m). It was the first eight-thousanders ' ascent. The path now drags flat ascending and is finally glaciat-free. Again and again we stop and look back at the mighty Dhaulagiri I, whose "normal path" is now easy to see: After the base camp through the wild glacier break under the "Eiger," over the subsequent glacier with huge crevices to widen Northeast saddle at an altitude of 5800 meters. In 1960, as part of the first ascent by the Swiss expedition led by Max Eiselin, material was deposited here with an airplane. The route leads over the blossoming northeast spur and the long ridge to the summit, which was first climbed on 13 May 1960 by Kurt Diemberger, Peter Diener, Ernst Forrer, Albin Schelbert and the two Sherpas Nawang Dorje and Nyima Dorje. Highest camp was a two-man tent (!) at an altitude of 7800 metres.
On 3 May 1986, Günther Härter reached the summit as expedition leader and Sepp Hirtreiter. Together with other expedition members, they survived a terrible thunderstorm of heights on the abandoned summit ridge in the descent. Two days later, another three members of the expedition reached the summit. From the French-Col, the upper Hidden Valley is crossed to Dhampus Pass. Many six-thousand enumerers lie in front of us. The nearby, mighty Tukuche Peak (69m) is the neighbouring mountain of Dhaulagiri I and dominates the scenery. Shortly thereafter, the camp will be built at a height of about 5100 metres.
Walking time 7-8 hours, ascent about 900 meters of altitude, descent about 300 meters of altitude, tent, (B/L/D)
Day 14: Reserve Day
For the acclimatization
Day 15: Climp Dhampus Peak, 6012 m and trekking to the High Alm "Yak Kharka," 4200 m
In good conditions (weather, conditions, personal condition) we venture today "our" peak and set off very early to Dhampus Peak (6012 m), which is sometimes called Thapa Peak. The technically light summit is a fantastic lookout mountain: We look beyond the deeply incised Kali Gandaki to the Annapurna group with Tilicho Peak and Nilgiri, further east of the Manaslu (8163 m), to the north to the Kingdom of Mustang and to Tibet, to the south And west on the entire Dhaulagiri group. We descend to a long crossing, which eventually leads us down the way to the Yak Karka (Karka = alpine pasture). A long day with strong impressions is coming to an end.
Without Dhampus Peak: Walking time 3-4 hours, ascent about 100 meters altitude, descent about 1000 meters of altitude, tent, (B/L/D)

Day 16: Trekking from the Yak Kharka to Marpha
We descend further over the Alm Alubari through alpine, shrub and forest regions. After the days in the glacier and rock area, the lush greenery of the lush vegetation is once again a feast for the eyes. We continue to the desert valley of Kali Gandaki to the stately Thakali village of Marpha, known for its apples and peaches (and the fruit eagle) Walking time 3-4 hours, descent about 1550 meters of altitude, Lodge, (B/L/D)
Day 17: Marpha to Beni and drive to Kathmandu
After Breakfast drive to Beni and continue drive to Kathmandu by Local Bus
(B/L/D)
