Upper Dolpo Trek

Day 1: Drive to Sankhu and hike to Nagarkot Early in the morning we drive from Kathmandu to Sankhu, one of the oldest Newari villages of Kathmandu valley. It is 1 hour drive. From here we hike to Nagarkot and it takes about 3.5 - 4 hours. In the evening we will watch sunset on the Himalaya from Nagarkot. Overnight in Nagarkot Day 2: Trek to Changunarayan and drive to Kathmandu Early in the morning we will enjoy sunrise view from the hill-station. If weather permits you can see Mt. Everest and many other Himalayan ranges. From Nagarkot, it is an easy gradual downhill and fairly level path to Changunarayan. After walking for 4 hours you reach Changunarayan, 5th century monument dedicated to Lord Shiva.
