The Manaslu trek is more of an exploration into a newly opened area than it is a trek. The trail leads us near Lo and Samagaon, which provides excellent views of Mt. Manaslu (8,163 m). We also pass the beautiful mountain villages of Jagat, Dyang, Samagaon, and others. Most of these villages have only recently been exposed to foreigners, and maintain their traditions and culture. The highest point on the Manaslu trek is at 5,214 m, when we cross Larkya La Pass. At the pass and along the trail we have phenomenal views of Mt. Manaslu, Bouddha Himal, Himal-Chuli peak, and Ganesh Himal. This trek is sure to be a memorable, wonderful, and enjoyable adventure.

The Chitwan National Park is the oldest national park in Nepal. Chitwan Park was established by king Dipendra in 1973, it was not granted national park status until 1984. It was originally a game preserve for royalty and dignitaries, but due to increased tourism it became evident that the preservation of the park was in the countries best interest.

The Panchase Hill trek is one of the best short circuit treks around the southern hills of the Annapurna Mountain range. The trek offers great views of the Himalayan Mountain range, wilderness experiences, insight into native ethnic groups of Nepal, and tours of a natural heritage site. The Panchase Hill trek is ideal for families with children and elderly people, nature enthusiasts, and for all experience levels.

At $2,500, this trek begins in Pokhara with a boat trip across Lake Phewa. On the other side of the lake, the trail takes trekkers to the World Peace Pagoda. The trail then travels through Bhumdi, Panchase, and Bhanjyang villages and reaches a maximum altitude of just over 2,500 meters (8,200 feet) at the top of Panchase Hill. The Panchase Hill Trek offers excellent views of the Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Lamjung, and Machhapuchhre mountains. Sun rises at the Panchase viewpoint are beautiful memorable. Returning from Pahnchase Hill, the trail travels through Bhadaure, Kaskikot, and Sarankot for more vantages of the Himalayan mountain range.

The Mardi Base Camp Trek begins at the base of Annapurna mountain range in Phedi. The trail from Phedi to Mardi Base Camp snakes through villages, forests, and of course, mountain passages. At every twist and turn in the trail a breath taking view, a beautiful monastery, or an enchanting village awaits. At Mardi Base Camp, trekkers can expect to see beautiful views of Machhapuchhre and surrounding mountains. On the way back from Mardi Base Camp, a soothing hot spring rests just off the trail in Jhinu. After a little rest and relaxation, the trek continues to Nayapul and then back to Phedi.

The Mustang Trek is extremely unique in all aspects. It provides an experience that is unobtainable on all other treks. Not only is it one of few treks that are permitted during the rainy season from June to September, it is the only trek that permits people to visit the forbidden kingdom of Lo, which wasn’t available to outsiders until the 1990’s.
