Snow Leopard Trek Pvt. is a fully established adventure tour company in operation since 1985. Snow leopard Trek’s office is based in Kathmandu, Nepal and it operates in the field of trekking, mountaineering, religious and cultural trips, sporting activities, special interest programs, incentive and city tours in the various Himalayan regions of Nepal, Indian, Bhutan and Tibet. We strictly adhere t

o the principles of eco-trekking. Thus, this company is the only agency in Nepal to receive the coveted “Abraham Conservation Award.” – given to a tourism agency in Nepal (on 5th June 2000) by World Wildlife Fund (WWF). Snow Leopard Trek is managed by a team of 25 full time professional Sherpa mountaineers, guides and other field and administrative staff who receive regular trainings in courses related to mountain tourism services such as selection of tourism destinations, trekking routes, management of outdoor camps, eco-trekking and responding to high altitude sickness and its treatment and simple first aid. Of course, safety issues concerning our porters and high altitude mountain guides are one of our prime concerns. Emphasis is given in preparing meals with special attention to health, hygiene and sanitation during trekking. All vegetables, fruits and utensils are treated before preparation and consumption. All Water is boiled and filtered. Today, Snow Leopard Trek Pvt. is well known in Nepal and overseas for its reputation in providing high quality adventure tour services with reliability and quality professionalism catering complete services of camping trekking and Tea House trekking services.

Vaccination in Nepal has been most aggressive with more than 70% . With almost all tourism front-line workers vaccinated we are ready to welcome all visitors to Nepal again.
We are also happy to inform you that our entire staff team including all the field staff is now fully vaccinated and ready to guide you to the Himalayas again.

The United States has congratulated Nepal for successfully vaccinating 70 percent of the population against COVID-19.
KATHMANDU, Feb 3: Nepal has achieved a new milestone in the vaccination campaign against COVID-19. Nepal has given full dose vaccines to 70 percent of people who are above 18 years of age.
The World Health Organization (WHO) has congratulated Nepal for achieving success in providing full dose vaccination against COVID-19 to 70 percent of the adult population.
"Congratulations Nepal for reaching another crucial milestone. 70% of the adult population (above 18 years) have now received a full COVID-19 vaccine course. Reaching 70% landmarks is a collective success of Nepal and its partners, it demonstrates what is possible when we work together with solidarity and incoordination," WHO tweeted today.
The government has launched a vaccination campaign across the country with the goal of vaccinating 100 percent of citizens over 18 years of age by April 13.

The perfect trek for those who wish to avoid the busier trails in the Everest region but still gain stunning views of Everest. Trekking slowly through Sherpa villages and yak pastures we emerge into the stunning Gokyo Valley with its beautiful lakes, and from where we ascend Gokyo Ri for one of the finest views of Everest and surrounding peaks including Cho Oyu in Tibet. From our remote high camp west of Gokyo, we prepare for the highlight of the trek, the crossing of the Renjo La. The views of Everest are incredible as we weave our way to the top of the pass at 5400m, before our descent to Mirlung along a rarely trodden trail where we are unlikely to see other trekkers. Undeniably trekking at its best in the Everest region.

Snow Leopard is a pioneer trekking company in Nepal with almost 25 years experience and manned by a team of professional Sherpa mountaineers, guides, cooks and other administrative staff. Snow Leopard is considered best in this line of trekking, mountaineering and cultural tours and our best practices include providing you with the best equipment and professionally trained staff. In addition, we have an approach for exercising best practices in eco trekking and culturally sensitive and interactive trekking.

Our guides have an expert understanding of local people and cultures of the trekking areas. They will assist you in your communication with local people and help you understand the religion, culture, values and various other aspects of the people of the region you visit. We feel it is our responsibility to create an environment where our guests can make journeys to gain knowledge and insight of the local cultures. We believe in helping clients nourish their curiosity of distant lands and cultures and cultivate an eco friendly global awareness. Our itineraries embody the spirit of the traveler.

Our guides and other field staff receive training and certification from the government run Hotel Management and Tourism Training Center. Further, they are given regular in-house refresher trainings on eco trekking courses related to mountain tourism services such as selection of tourism destinations, trekking routes, management of outdoor camps, cultural trekking, high altitude sickness and its treatment and simple first aid.

A special component of Snow Leopard's services is the food we serve during trekking. In our full camping treks, Snow Leopard's professionally trained cooks prepare a wide variety of Nepalese, Chinese, Continental dishes during trekking, strictly keeping in view the health and hygiene of our guests. Special emphasis is given to cleaning of fruits and vegetables and the proper boiling of drinking water to assure that no one gets sick during trekking.
