Ama Dablam Base Camp is a popular trekking destination for trekkers who prefer to be in the Everest Region of eastern Nepal. It is a unique trail leading you to one of the third most popular base camps of Mt. Ama Dablam (4600M/15092Ft).
The trail is filled with colorful flora and fauna along with the mighty Himalayas and the most popular settlement of the Sherpa, the abode of the Himalayas, which is Namche Bazaar.
Ama Dablam literally in the local language means ‘Mothers Necklace’. The mountain has such a lovely shape as if a mother is welcoming her children by spreading her arms. This will be an easy-going trek for those who lack time to be at the Everest Base Camp but prefer to be in the Khumbu Region to explore Mount Everest and the other Himalayas.
The mountain Ama Dablam rises with an altitude of 6812M/22349Ft, making it one of the most viewed mountains while on the Everest trek and also one of the most magnificent mountains with its unique shape.
