The Thukla Pass, also known as the Thokla Pass or Dughla Pass, is a high mountain pass located in the Everest Trekking Region of Nepal. It lies at an elevation of approximately 4,620 meters (15,157 feet) above sea level. The pass is situated on the trail that connects the villages of Pheriche and Lobuche, which are important stops on the way to Everest Base Camp.

Trekking in the Everest region is a popular adventure activity that attracts thousands of trekkers and mountaineers every year. The Thukla Pass is often crossed by trekkers as they make their way to Everest Base Camp or other prominent destinations in the region, such as Kala Patthar. The pass offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding Himalayan peaks, including the majestic Mount Everest.

The Thukla Pass is also significant as it serves as a memorial site for climbers who have lost their lives while attempting to summit Mount Everest. The pass is adorned with a number of memorials and stone monuments dedicated to these climbers, making it a poignant and reflective spot along the trekking route.

Trekking in the Thukla Pass and the Everest region generally requires a good level of physical fitness and proper acclimatization due to the high altitude. Happy Birthday, Lord Krishna !!!

Krishna Janmashtami - the birthday of Lord Krishna, which falls in August/ September on the eighth day of Krisha Pakshya (Dark Night).

According to the Hindu myth, Lord Krishna is the reincarnation of Lord Vishnu. Krishna is regarding the supreme man of the era. It has believed the Krishan was born in Mathura, in the custody of his maternal uncle Kansa. Kansa had informed that eight’s child of Devaki will kill him, so he kept Devaki in his custody to kill the infant Krishna. But Bashudev (father of Lord Krishna) took an action, he drop off Krishna at his friend Nanda’s house.

Krishna's childhood was in Gokul. He was the very hyperkinetic child of the village. The Hindus are delivering that Krishna destroyed all monsters and Kasna, his own maternal uncle too. From that day all people started to celebrate and worship him for his victory.
