Finally we managed to reach Tilicho Lake today. The weather was clear and we could see the mountains well. The road is quite challenging. The height of Tilicho Lake is 4919 meters.

Couple of weeks ago I was on Mardi Himal trek and I can definitely recomend it. It is not a very difficult trek, but you do have to take your time with it to get used to altitude.
Our guide on the Trek was Balaram and I can say only the best about him. He seemed to be a very experienced guide and very knowladgable about everything mountains relatad. Also it was great that he was open to answer all kind of questions about mountains, culture of the local people and Nepal as a country.
If I would go back to Nepal for some more trekking, I would definitely try to reach out to him again.
