The humble 🍋 I love this time of year when my trees are loaded with lemons - whatsnot to love about a splash of bright yellow in your garden in winter.
This morning I'm off to visit a work colleague so thought I'd take some morning tea. I really enjoy baking - I know my muffins don't look perfect but they taste delicious 😉 Made from a recipe in my favorite baking book.
I'm not a jam or chutney maker but I do preserve lemons for adding to Mediterranean & Middle Eastern dishes.
Also I drink lemon juice with warm water every morning to boost immune system, assist digestion, and flush out the liver (handy when you're also partial to gin - with a slice of 🍋 of course!)

Onwards we pedal along the coast past simple colorful homes and plantations of coconut & taro. It's Friday and families are cleaning up for the weekend. Strimming lawns and sweeping up rubbish & leaves. Life is simple here and we are loving it ☺️

What a day between Agra and Jaipur - a drive that should have taken around 4 hours ended up taking 7 due to traffic snarl ups. Plus Jaipur has a population of over 4 million so delays entering the city inevitable! We passed so many very full buses which made us appreciate our spacious coach. Gin o'clock on the road and lots of laughs at the scenes outside 😉
