PARC (Pukahu & Hawkes Bay Adult Riding Club)

Our aim is to cater for all levels of riders. We also hold a few shows each year where lots of ribbons and cool prizes can be up for grabs. Hope to see you soon!

Pukahu & Hawkes Bay Adult Riding Club was established by a group of likeminded individuals who had a common interest in coming together and enjoying our horses our beautiful district and each other's company. PARC (Pukahu and Hawkes Bay Adult Riding Club) is a fun and friendly riding club that allows any and all levels of riders 21yrs and over to come and enjoy rallies of many kinds. We all get to

gether and encourage each other, whether it be show jumping, eventing, dressage, trekking, training, playing around, hoof ball and anything you can think of. PARC is committee run and we hold our AGM where every member can come and vote, nominate or just have a say. We are always open to suggestions and good ideas – the best part is, if you want to see a rally or event happen, you can organise it yourself so it’s exactly how you imagined. So if you’re in the Hawkes Bay area, whether you’re near or far, we’d love to hear from you and join our ranks. Membership is only $40 per year, and our club grounds are at the Hawkes Bay Equestrian Park in Flaxmere, Hastings. There are heaps of facilities at our disposal, so come check them out.

Such a great 1st day of the pole rally. Fantastic lesson had by all with plenty to learn and add to their home schooling. There is space still available for the 2nd day of the pole rally on the 28th.

We had a fabulous day today thanks very much to all who came along. Thanks to those who helped pick up poles and keep the area tidy.
I only got a few photos before I got on my own horse. Was great to see some familiar faces but also meet some new ones too.
Best of all everyone was really supportive of each other and encouraging. This makes for a great atmosphere.
Results will be up sometime this week and we look forward to seeing you at future events.
There are some rallies planned for the near future and we will let you know details as they are confirmed. Plus starting thinking of costume ideas the Christmas show is in the works too!

We are all set for tomorrow many thanks to the committee for the set up we look forward to a fun day tomorrow!
A reminder to set those clocks forward tonight if it already doesn't do itself. Remember sunscreen, plenty of water for both you horse or pony and yourself. Keep yourself and your mount hydrated and fed.
There will be a chance to do a course walk for 5-10min before the start of each class.
Start is at 9am and gates open at 8am

Thank you to those who have entered our Open Show Jump Day tomorrow at Montana arena. The weather is looking great for a fun day of show jumping. The gate is open at 8am and our first class starts at 9am. Parking is down the back past the arena. Class 1 and 2 are one round and will be timed and class 2 and 4 will be instant jump off.
Note: PARC Members set up is 4pm today and many hands make light work. See you soon - Chrissy PARC President

Many thanks to Farmlands Napier for putting together these goodies for our Champion and Reserve champion members for the showjumping this weekend!
Also a small prize for a sportsmanship award.
