High speed WIFI, a new desk in Wharepuni and cell phone coverage are now up and running at TaiRua if anyone feels like a working holiday. Nothing quite like waking up to a walk on the beach and having a swim at lunchtime! (Missing it terribly after returning to Auckland).

Bach is now available 17-29 January. Any length bookings during that time considered. Wifi now available and cell phone coverage is here. $220/night for main house. $20pp after that. Get in quick!

Happy Christmas all! Simply magic being back down here to rest, recharge and get back to basics after this crazy year! Kids are in heaven.

A new lagoon to explore. Big waves have shifted all the sand from the lagoon onto the beach and given us completely different rocks to explore. Check out crab rock! A new lockdown activity for the morning walk.

Tai Rua sits on a large section that comprises of a main bach
and out-house. The main bach has a double room and four-bed bunk room, kitchen, toilet and bathroom. The other has a double room and three-bed bunkroom. Both are very private with wonderful views straight out to sea.
