That's a wrap for our 2023 harvest!

It was hot and dusty, but the Avoworks NZ team did a fantastic job getting all the fruit picked and off to the Just Avocados packhouse.

Just in time for Xmas and a chance to relax and put the feet up.

The 2024 season crop is looking really good, with fruit sizing up nicely. Unfortunately, there's no rest for the trees as they're right back into it.

Time to get these bundles of deliciousness picked and off to avocado connisuers around the country, and possibly further afield.

This means that orchard tours will be paused for the next few days whilst harvest operations are underway.

We'll ensure that we save a few for our visitors, plus we have some scrumptious Reed avocados for you to sample.

Avocado Tours, situated in Katikati the Avocado Capital of New Zealand, offers you a unique opportunity to step into the world of avocados and discover the journey from tree 🌳 to toast. 🍞
Our guided tours with Tim offer a firsthand look at the workings of a fully operational avocado orchard. You’ll gain an in-depth understanding of everything from avocado cultivation and harvesting to the intricate process of getting the fruit from tree to consumer.
Tours run twice daily, seven days a week and include an informative commentary, hands-on activities and demonstrations, and the chance to taste and sample delicious avocado treats.
