we have a busy schedule in the coming months from weddings, honeymooners, holidays, qetaways and family gatherings!!

The sun is out and we are super excited for our guests to enjoy the beautiful surroundings we have been creating over the past year for them to rest, relax and revive.

Only 50 minutes from Auckland city, 5 minutes from Matakana, 10 minutes from Omaha, we are that perfect destination!

We are in spring however it feels like winter.

Hence when the rain subsided for a moment we took the opportunity to get outside and walk around our property.

Mr Miko was in his element (living his best life), doing zoomies around the paddocks, leaping through the long spring grass, enjoying the freedom of having a beautiful space to run around in.

Gosh we have received a lot of rain!
Lucky it was an inside day for us, how about you?
When we could finally get out, nature showing us it’s true form, the garden flourishing with new growth, and everything looking ready to burst.
Our creek turned into a stream washing away what isn’t needed.
We love the sound of water, hence another thing to be grateful for.
So pleased our guests will get to experience this little piece of paradise for themselves.

As we celebrate our first year of living our new life we can only be grateful for natures lessons.

Whatever maybe going on in your journey of life, for you personally, for your family or friends one constant is that tomorrow is a new day.

If we ever needed reminding of this, nature will always have our backs and gently let us know.

As we walked around our property today we celebrated these beautiful blossoms and reflected just how fortunate we are.

These blossoms are unique to the fruit they are generating.

As a year nears close for us, we reflect on what a magnificent journey we have had!

Taking on a new venture can offer many challenges and opportunities, and we are proud that we rose to the occasion and achieved what we have.

Our goals and do to list were adventurous to say the least, however we achieved them with more to come!!!

We look forward to another year with a bit more experience under our belt, we are looking forward to celebrating our anniversary, and we look forward to seeing what the future holds for us.

Villetta / Matakana now has a stunning outdoor area for our guests to rest / restore / revive.

Even if rains our guests can still take in the beautiful outdoors, with a covered roof over the dining area.

we are very excited to see the Italian Film Festival at the Matakana Cinemas.

If you haven’t had the opportunity or experience of visiting this well curated Cinema we fully recommend you to do so.

Each theatre is uniquely designed with very comfortable chairs to relax in, and take in the lovely intimate environment.

Another example of our community offering wonderful experiences for us all to enjoy together.
