On a sunny day in October 2003, after an eventful rural hunting and fishing tour, our German guests had the insightful thirst for a drop of wine at the end of the day. “What a good idea!”. So gradually a winery stop was introduced into the Prinsy’s Rural Experience, then one winery became two, then three made a decent half day wine tour…

From humble beginnings with window-operated air-con, these days the Prinsy’s fleet has risen to meet the desires of our discerning guests on exclusive tours and transfers, as expectations for quality have risen and travellers become more sophisticated, with a mix of quality vans and luxury European SUVs. In 2017 & 2018 we were delighted to win the Hawke’s Bay Tourism Visitor Experience Award (in the small business category), be runners up for the Supreme Award and in 2018 we were also runner up for the Essence of Hawke’s Bay Award. 🥂 Prinsy's are hiring again! Who’s looking for possibly the best summer job in Hawke’s Bay?

🚙 Prinsy’s are quietly hiring for a Tour Driver / Guide for our award-winning Wine Tour business. Could this be you, or someone you know?

The role is casual, part-time, based on the tour bookings we receive. Our drivers love getting out and about any day of the week, Mon – Sun.

It’s a fun role in a friendly team, where you get to drive happy people around, visit wineries and local sights, and share our region.

The main thing we hire for is personality – someone who has a story to share, is comfortable weaving a yarn, mature-minded and hospitable.

You don’t have to know it all, just have a passion and a willingness to learn. Full training will be provided anyway.

Desirable attributes are:
• Passenger Service License holder (although we can help the right person into one)
• Knowledge and networks within the Hawke’s Bay area
• Friendly, safe, and considerate
• Passionate about Hawke’s Bay and local wine and food
