We are open Monday to Friday 10am to 3pm. Come and see us to get your Bee Cards activated. We heard there has been an issue with Bee Cards supplied by the Hamilton Transport Centre recently, Busit say that anyone affected needs to return to the Hamilton Transport Centre for them to sort it out. If you want another card in the meantime, they are $5 and you can top them up with us or online)

BREAK IN/ROBBERY

I’m sad to report that the not for profit Te Awamutu isite information and visitors centre was broken into over the long weekend. We had to close on Tuesday and Wednesday to tidy up.

Items taken are in the photos below, including the locally made jewellery and unique jewellery rack, local lavender products (Alphra Lavender) and these tee shirts. Please keep an eye out and let us or the police know if these are being offered to you or sold on market place etc.

We have CCTV footage, with one image below. the rest is with the police.

Another lovely sunny day in Te Awamutu! ☀️

A must do this long weekend, visit the rose gardens opposite the information centre, to see and smell the roses! They are beautiful and so fragrant 😁

We will be closed on Monday 27th Jan, for Anniversay Day. We re-open on Tuesday 28th Jan at 10am.
