The electricians from AME Solutions came round to today and replaced ELEVEN halogen light fittings with TWO energy efficient, more attractive LED lights… we’ll save on power bills and the light distribution is better too!

One of those many jobs we “should have done years ago” 🤣😂

Now to find time to paint the ceiling before our first guests arrive next week…

One week to go and we move back to Kāpiti… aka “real life” 😆 The past six months (almost) in Kuratau have been great and we’re also looking forward to being back in Kāpiti.

Aren’t we lucky to be part of two such fabulous communities? 💓

We had a list of about 40 things we planned to achieve here over winter and did about 4… with a week to go how many more can we tick off???

First guests for this spring/summer are arriving 7 October so we now have a deadline… watch this space!

Guess what went out for a spin at Whakapapa last week? Mr 8 was so excited to have his own board instead of a hire one!

Amazing to see how well the kids are boarding and skiing after being in Kuratau for a winter. They have been almost every week - either with school or with us - it’s less than an hour from bed to skifield!
