The Riuwaka River partially flows underground through limestone caves, before returning to the open at the this point known as the Riuwaka Resurgence. It is another great location for photography in the Tasman District.

Whangarei Falls is an awesome waterfall found just outside the Northland city. It's a great area to explore with your camera and offers some great perspectives to capture a photograph.

The great Kauri 'Te Matua Ngahere' is estimated to be over 2000 years old and is quite humbling to stand before. It is New Zealand's second largest Kauri and is found within Northland's Waipoua Forest.
