DayTrippers is excited to announce we are back operating under new ownership.
Ian Holroyd, owner of the Mount Classic Tours group of tourism operations has added DayTrippers to his range of services. He extends his heartfelt thanks to Miles Johnson for the excellent work he has done over the last couple of years to build the brand and offer such a premium, well thought out product and service. Ian and his team are thrilled to continue in his footsteps as well as introducing their own flavour.
Currently they will be providing trail shuttle services only with a purpose built MTB trailer capable of holding up to 15 bikes however aim to re-introduce bike tours in due course.

We are sorry but it is time to say Goodbye at DayTrippers.
This year has been tough for many and we have decided the challenge is to big to continue operating our business within the current tourism environment. We are sorry to advise we are now closed.

We have confirmed July dates for you to ride the Hauraki Rail Trail section from Waihi to Paeroa. This 24km grade 2 trail will provide a leisurely down river ride along the Ohinemuri River through the spectacular Karangahake Gorge and 1100 metre tunnel to Paeroa.
Choose shuttle only and bring your own favourite bike or hire our Giant Fathom electric bike to boost your fun on this 3 hour ride. Grab some friends to make a group of 6-10 or book a seat and join our group.
(Minimum tour group of 6 is needed for the GO RIDE DAY to proceed.)
